The doctors are very useless. A mild stroke patient, no scan done or referrals to any other hospital that does the CT or Mri scan, 2 and a half days wasted on just doing vitals and colleting meds, did not admit him. What was doctors thought in there 6 years of studies.

The most disgusting hospital, they killed my cousin, they sent him home when they should have admitted him, all the government services are pathetic and this country is ruled by people that are ******* therefore the government services are all *******. King George is supposed to be a safe haven for people sick but people have swollen belly with appendix burst symptoms and they sent them home with panado, the staff in King George are completely uneducated, heartless and are only there for money, the trauma staff and doctors do not fulfill their oath, rather they ********s because they ****** people, they knew very well what they were doing with they don't care attitude, God is watching all these people and one day you will be judged for this, what you sow you will reap. I plead with everyone to work hard and get some type of hospital plan or medical aid because you can not trust your Government, work hard and educate yourself and save and leave this horrible country, it's only for ******* people and horrible heartless people. Kind George hospital needs to be shut down immediately, there are so many cases they are hiding and killing people and *****ing from the hospital. DO NOT GO TO KIND GEORGE, YOU WILL DIE.

The service delivery is so pathetic. There is no proper communication with the patients nor are the nurses helpful. They expect us to just find our way. I write this review as I sit and wait in the hospital for my grandmother who has been waiting to be checked since 4. An hour ago there were 9 patients in front of her and now there are still 9 patients. So I guess this hospital wants us to spend 10 hours sitting in one place. Absolutely pathetic and then the staff and guards have time to congregate and laugh around when there are patients that's are in distress. Just because it's a public hospital doesn't mean it has to be so ****ty. And then people want to know why this country has so many problems. Well if our health care facilities are pathetic then what do they expect. I've been here for 3 hours now. What's the point of calling it an emergency ward if the patients aren't being taken care off in time.

I travelled from pmburg to this hospital to a family member that was at the emergency room.. Yes he was dying . We were grateful to have a few ****** moments with him because we snuck in here and there to assist him with a pee pot then ofcourse we had to help with xrays because of *********** staff. The cherry on top is the security who decided to enforce where we sit awaiting the the doctors decision whether the patient should be transfered to another hospital for an emergency operation. The mighty security lady who was absent during the whole time that the patient needed assistance suddenly appeared when the work was done and ordered that we move from where we were seated to 2 metres away because god knows why.. Nevermind that the doctor asked us to wait there because we awaiting a decision. Anyway we waited a few chairs away while the security guard disappeared again maybe she had some other serious patients family seating arrangement to combat. Then our family member passes on. We then notified and enter the hospital again then the security at the main door 'I Cant let you people go in I wont allow you people to make niyaga niyaga inside ' the mighty security again. Are these security people trained ?? How in gods name do they get these contracts who ever employs these security? Anyway nothing was stopping us we went in and abided by the rules my family sat at the waiting area I went in and found my family member laying on the bed dead. No we not fighting with anyone because he died. We not fighting with anyone may his soul rest in peace. I am not complaining about any services from the health dept it is what it is its the best we can get that our taxes can buy hospitals don't give life nor can they take life they can only try and save life and I am sure they do it to the best of their human ability. Our Islamic belief system requires us to conduct the burial as soon as possible . With all wrapped up at the main hospital the next ordeal starts at the hospital mortuary. At the mortuary there was one female guard and one dude who is like the King of the dead. That's all he will ever be in my eyes. Every effort to release the body to the Muslim burial society seemed to be a dead end with him. He gave problem upon problems without solutions. Eventually I told him to keep the body. Funny how reverse psychology somewhat worked. My story is going on too long now but my problem is who puts all these rules in place? I wish that those same people would use the same voom and zest to replace the ceiling and bucket collecting water at the xray dept. Also get those fancy scanners at gate to work, ask your staff to get off their phones and assist patients in distress. Yes I have enough video evidence and audio evidence to back up my story. My intentions are not to use any of this to degrade anyone I would just like the people mentioned in this to think about your attitude toward the distressed

My dad was taken to hospital by ambulance and being a elderly, stroke patient in a wheelchair, received poor treatment. After the other patients insisting on him getting first preference, doctors ignored this and said that he needs to wait in queue. He was in great distress and doctors did not give a damn. Very disappointing.

On the 7th of July 2024, my wife amd I welcomed our baby boy to the world. This should have been the proudest moment of our lives, unfortunately, it was the most traumatic moments for my wife, baby and I. When we reached the hospital at 5:30am on Sunday, I was not allowed to go into the ward with my wife even though I was told by our clinic that I would be. After seeing the doctor, my wife was told that she was 4cm dilated and in labour. The doctor informed my wife that she would not be sent to the early labour ward and will be kept downstairs in the labour ward as she was progressing fast. However, as soon as the doctor left, the nurses said that he didn't know what he was doing and insisted that my wife was only 2cm so she was sent upstairs to the early labour ward. Following this, my wife started to bleed and they said it was normal. When they checked on her an hour later, she was 6cm and told her that they don't know why she was sent upstairs and needs to go back downstairs again. Before sending her down, they did her internal check while she was contracting and hurt her in the process. She was then made to carry her own hospital bag back downstairs while bleeding, dilating, and experiencing painful contractions. When she reached 8cm, the nurses got her onto the bed, broke her water and while adjusting the position of the bed, dropped her forward, while in active labour. They then laughed and told her that she was heavy. When picking her up and repositioning the bed, they dropped her back causing her to hit her head. I was then asked to come in to calm my wife down, when I walked in, she was placed in a very uncomfortable position and she told them they are hurting her. This angered the nurse SISTER SHANGASE, and they stopped everything they were doing to shout at my wife for saying that and then proceeded to say she must sign papers and get out and deliver your baby at home. It was also mentioned that "it wouldn't sound right if someone walked by and heard you saying that we are hurting a patient." However, that is exactly what they were doing. They then accused my wife of trying to kick the nurse although she was adjusting her leg because of the pain. At this point they actually took off their gloves and refused to deliver the baby until i begged them to please help my wife. They then proceeded to cut her perineum but forgot to administer any form of pain killers or topical anesthesia when stitching her. This caused my wife to pass out in pain. When she came to, she was shaking because of the loss of blood and they did not even offer her a blanket. When she was sent up to the maternity ward for the evening, she tried breastfeeding our baby but he wasn't latching, the nurses refused to assist her with feeding him which lead to my baby crying and starving the entire night. My wife actually carried our crying baby to the nurses station at midnight to ask for some formula for him but was sent back to her bed multiple times. She was told that our baby would die if she didn't feed him and was asked what kind of a mother is she. The nurses got irritated and took the baby saying he needs to burp. They then laid him on the bed and hit him on his back to roll him across the bed. In the morning, a new nurse came in and heard the baby crying and noticed that he wasn't latching to my wifes breast as he was a tiny baby and she fed him some formula. This traumatic incident occurred 2 weeks ago and has been a catalyst in my wife slipping into full blown post partem depression to a state where she can't even produce milk for our baby anymore. Please help us expose this evil, heartless and careless ward of nurses at this hospital.

Due to unfortunate circumstances, I no longer have medical aid and have had to seek medical care from this hospital as it is the closest to me. Recently I have had a spate of illness that has seen me in the trauma unit 3 times (once for an issue and 2 for follow up) where my drawn blood was lost and the tests has to be redone; on the follow up visit, I was asked by a doctor in the main hall my reasons for being there then told that they were unable to access my blood results due to interference in the online system. I was then referred to the MOPD department for outpatients to follow up on the blood results that were now 3 weeks pending. Today (12/07/2024) I have been waiting at the hospital since 4.30am for them to open at 7am as the queues are extremely long. When the clerk in this department came around to collect the patient cards with no announcement of such (I have never been here before today), he walks straight past you and take every single card but for the people who are on their phones or sleeping in their chairs. There is no communication between the patients and the administration of the department except this. When asked, he justifies his behavior by saying that it's not his problem and that he cannot wait for people to take their cards out of their bags. This is not the first example of the power trip that some people in public service enjoy but it is unbelievable that patients who have no other option but to seek medical help from the state are treated so badly.
