I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Kitwe Laundromat in Centurion mall . I purchased various remote controls yesterday (10/07/2025) which weren’t cheap which remotes turned out to be defective, yet when I tried to address the issue with the owner/manager today (11/07/2025), I was met with an individual who was blatantly rude, unwilling to listen and an individual who had no intention of making any attempt to resolve the issue and who showed a complete lack of professionalism. Instead of making an effort to listen to what I had to say, the manager/owner was abrupt, dismissive, utterly disrespectful and showed no interest in resolving or addressing the problem, despite the fact that one of her employees confirmed the day before, that I would be able to return the remote controls, if necessary. The fact that she was however more interested in continuing her video call, confirms her complete lack of professionalism and business etiquette. This kind of customer service is unacceptable and completely unnecessary. Not only was she disrespectful towards me but after our encounter, she unnecessarily reprimanded a fellow employee who had been starring at her which she did in the most disgraceful manner. She quite clearly doesn’t respect her customers, nor her employees which is something that can unfortunately not be taught. Good luck because from the other reviews, you definitely need it.

I bought a remote at the shop at Mall @Reds. I was assisted by a gentleman by the name of Lucky, he is the manager of the store. I was told that they won’t not be able to reconfigure my remote and I would need to reconfigure it at home. Upon arrival I realized that I do not actually require the remote and returned it the next day. Upon returning the remote I was then told I am not allowed to return it because I bought the right remote. I then ask why I can not return the remote and I was told because it’s policy. I asked to see the policy as there was nothing on the walls or slip that made mention of the no return policy nor did the manager make mention of it on the day I bought it. He said they do not have a policy written anywhere but it is at head office. So I asked how can they then say it’s a policy if it is not in the store. I was then told that that’s the rules and I should complain to head office if I would like a refund. I then emailed my complaint to head office on info@kitweservices.co.za which I was told the same thing and I also told them the same thing that I did not use the remote let alone unpackage the remote. They then told me that I can return to the store and get my refund as a result of the goods still being in a the condition that I had bought it. Upon my arrival Lucky knew nothing and I showed him the emails that I had with head office as he had directed me to, but because there was no name on the email from the sender he refused to take the remote and give me a refund as he said the money would come out of his pocket. I emailed back to head office and now I am being ignored. I am at a loss for words because I do not know how there is no return policy in the store and when I get told to raise my concern with head office they tell me to go get my refund and after that I am still being blown off to not get it

The kitwe store @Mall of Africa Worst service ever!! That assistant guy was so rude and ******** to my request, totally did not want to take accountability after he’s done totally garbage work on my son’s school bag, these people totally looked down on me and undermined me!!!!

Honestly the worst experience I’ve ever had cutting keys. I told the guy on the first day the keys didn’t look the same. He told me to try and come back. As I knew it didn’t work. Went back a second time. He filed it abit I told him it still doesn’t look the same. The owner, an extremely rude woman grabbed the key out of my hands showed it to the guy doing the key then rudely gave it back to me and said it’s a standard key and if it doesn’t work I must come back. I went back a third time. The guy filed it more and gave me a story about how it’s a different key and they basically did me a favour by cutting it. The key still does not work. That’s three hours of my week, my lunch hours, gone on one simple key that doesn’t want to work. Do not waste your time with these people as clearly customer service isn’t a thing that’s being done there. Where must I get my time and money back? And it’s crazy that all the reviews on every platform for this business are bad.

Horrible service at Kitwe Mall @Res by the shoemaker guy called Mashamba, I left my shoe on Friday for repair and he told me I can pick up on Monday 07 /03/2022 and when I got there he already packed them for me and when I opened the shoe was not properly glued on he says he didn’t see that and he kept of trying to open the shoe and now my shoe is ruined he told he can refund theres nothing he can do to fix it 😡… he had such bad attitude and bad service !!!! Will never recommend Kitwe to anyone.

There is an AD on the wall at mall@reds that if you fix three pairs of heels you only pay for two, I went there 01.02.2021 with three pairs or heel bud I was told that special was finished last year but the adverti*****t is still there.

Yes, I met the "lady" in the parking lot this morning. She was abusive towards the security because the security was assisting a customer who locked her keys in the car. She was ranting at the security for helping the customer because it is not their job. The customer have to get a locksmith (obviously trying to get business from desperate people). The customer who's keys was locked in was so embarrassed by this raving lunatic, and I spoke to her trying to diffuse the situation, it was a old lady and didn't have the funds for a locksmith. The owner of Kitwe then started abusing me calling me a ***** and hope I rot in hell - direct quote. Kitwe owner then walked to the security office to call the head of security for this breech in doing their job. According to Kitwe owner this is how they teach others to steal cars and tomorrow all Centurion mall clients cars will be stolen.... I then had enough because she was threatening me violence, I then phoned the police. Kitwe owner then quickly walk away into the mall.

I took my coat to Kitwe dry cleaners and locksmith in Centurion mall. The coat had a mud stain on the inside of the coat which I told them about prior to cleaning it. When I went to fetch it they explained that they could not take off the stain. The coat has shrunk and lost its color. I was told to come back when the people responsible for dry cleaning were there which I did. I found a very rude guy who told me he was in charge and there’s nothing he can do my coat is cheap quality that’s why it got ruined.
