Good day

I was on the lookout for a new car and finally came across a 2007 model E90 Bmw that was standing in Klerksdorp motors showroom. While testing the car I noticed that it had a hard starting problem but Wynand told me that he will have it sorted and was taken to ElJay motors to be fixed. The mechanic said that the plugs were old and needed to be replaced. I was held responsible to pay an amount of R3500 for a service witch I didn’t get any proof and the service light in the dashboard still appears….. The car got financed at Wesbank with account no ********** 2307 and I signed the contract on Friday the 11/11/16 because the car was "fixed".

During the weekend the problem preexist and I took the car back on that Monday. ElJay motors then diagnosed a valvetronic problem as the cause and that was repaired but still had a hard starting problem. Wynand said that he will take it to another mechanic but he also failed to fix or to find the cause of the problem. I received the car on the 2/12/16. During this time I asked to cancel the purchase of vehicle because I was fed-up to struggle with the car and concerned about my wife and new born safety but Wynand refused. On the 3/12/16 I returned to Klerksdorp motors to ask for a loan car. Unfortunately Wynand was not there and I had to phone him, he was very rude and unprofessional and stated that he cannot take the responsibility each time and that I must kick the mechanics F@&$$ing gates open to fix the car because it is not his problem anymore and that he is not going to spend a cent more on the car.

Without succeeding to resolve the problem we went on holiday with a broken car. During the Christmas period Wynand said we must get the car fixed and claim it through the warranty that they sold me with the purchase. In the new year the car was booked in at Diesellec and they diagnosed the injectors as the problem and needed to be replaced..

With my luck the warranty did not pay for it and I paid a total of R9513.99 out of my pocket because it is my wife’s daily car to get to work and needed the car to be fixed asap etc... When consulting with Wynand he said I must send him the invoices so that he can motivate a payment from the warranty. Still waiting without any response....

I feel that if Klerksdorp Motors made sure that their vehicles are in a good perfect working condition before they advertise them on their showroom and took the car to a respectable mechanic the first time none of this was necessary. I attached the invoices from daily BMW and Diesellec .

Please assist me in this situation.

Johanco Slabbert (Sales person)

**********

**********

Kind regards

G Bosman

**********
