Best Dental Care in Cape Town - Hands Down!
For the first time in my life, going to the dentist has been something I feel totally secure and comfortable doing. It's not just the consummate professionalism of Dr Shih and Dr Natha as our dental surgeons, or the gentle attentiveness of Zainab Jacobs as our oral hygienist, or the consistent friendliness and care that administrative staff like Connor, Atiyya and Jade provide every day - it's the whole that makes it truly specials, the fact that together they are just such a great team, that they each love doing their jobs. I've never felt like just another client or account number with them. I really can't sing their praises more and I'm only giving them a five-star because there aren't six to give. If you're looking for the best dental care in Cape Town - look no further. Kromboom Dental is where it's at.

Dont care about patients
Got my tooth extracted by Dr Hafjee after suffering with a lot of pain called the practice Wednesday morning and ask to speak to the dentist but was told he was unavailable but will return my call possibly. Waited the whole day no one called .Suffered the whole night with pain Thursday call the practice again. Still no one called me back .Decide to walk in the practice for assistance waited patiently from 17h10 to see the dentist the woman st reception said I'm a walking in and must wait .seen dentist walk in taking new patients before me more than 3 times and still did not take me in The receptionist say its because I'm a walking I have be patient I said ok at 19h20 decided that they were not willing to assist me with my pain and left .If there are any complications after my tooth extraction you will be hearing from my attorneys. Still in pain with no help .Seem this practice is about making money and not caring about there patients. Stay away guys.

Great service!
Had a dental emergency on a Sunday and was treated immediately with care and consideration. Not only that, the dentist saved my tooth. Great service, thank you! If I lived in Cape Town I would use them.

Wisdom teeth
Never have I ever experienced such great customer service at any shop, institute, medical centre or any other place for that matter. Great isn't even nearly close to the service that I received! And that is only at the reception! Dr. Natha and his assistant Luke are out of this world! Really!!!!! I was super nervous for the removal of all for my wisdom teeth - they were impacted... I was nervous due to the fact that I would be awake during the procedure, but Dr Natha and Luke made that experience fun and memorable. I am actually happy that I was awake just because of the great experience. They made me feel so calm and relaxed, they even played some music to clear the atmosphere - something that I never expected and experienced from other doctors. We were all talking about the music and cool movies on Netflix that I totally even forgot that I'm having my teeth extracted! I wish my wisdom teeth would grow back only to re-live this great experience. The jokes, the funny talks, the unforgettable experience... NEVER EVER will I visit any other dental institute ever!!!!!!! This place and its staff are totally the best! I will forever be grateful to them and that I found them (due to all the good reviews) on the internet. Thank you guys, you really made my day!

Wisdom teeth

INCOMPETENCE
I will not go back to Kromboom Dental Centre again. Beside being of no value for money - I simply cannot handle the level of incompetence received to follow a simple instruction to correct an error which should not have been made in the first place. My husband made an appointment for my 5 year old son for a check-up. I was told that the consultation was going to by X amount. I assumed with that amount given it included a cleaning. I did not know that the amount given was merely for an opinion which ended with an "I DON"T KNOW". You would think that this opinion would include x-rays as a medical opinion of this sort from my understanding can simply not be reached without x-rays being taken - this is just me applying my attorney mind here. The consultation was a complete waste of time - I was told that my 5 year old has cavities which his not complaining about and which the Doctor found to be strange. What I found amusing though was when the doctor asked me what's wrong with his mouth and responded to my answer with a "was it not like that from birth". He has a pointy tooth at the age of 5 coming out where an incisor suppose to be coming out after his milk tooth fell out. I mean really now. After the x-ray was taken, it was still not established why this is. I'm told that he needs 7 fillings - in total with the anaesthetist I'm looking to pay about R7500.00. They were extremely pushy that I book the appointment even telling me that if I don't book the appointment immediately, that they don't know when I will be able to get another appointment. On my way to pay I'm told, wait for, that there just happens to be an appointment the Monday. Note that my son and I were there the Thursday. I'm given a statement and when I want to submit the claim to my medical aid, I noticed that the incorrect medical aid details are on the form. This irritates me as I completed and updated my details the Thursday, there is no excuse for this mistake. I try calling, no one answers and so I send an email. I get a response asking me to send my updated details and so I do this. No statement is sent. I do a follow up email, no statement or response. I call the next day and I'm told by reception that Tasneem sent the statement the previous day and that I should check my spam. Obviously I checked my spam folder and I informed whoever I spoke to of this. I was told by this person that she will send it now and yet nothing. I'm struggling to understand why a simple instruction cannot be carried out, why they cannot fix their careless mistake which should not have been made in the first place or whether it is because of their ineptitude.

Best dental experience ever
I am incredibly impressed by the service of this dental practice. I have always been very scared of a dentist and the possible judgement that goes with it. Dr Shih is terrific. I have never felt so comfortable at a dentist, and can recommend Kromboom Dental Centre to anyone that has an absolute crippling fear of a dentist. I'm actually excited to go back, which is a first for me!

Best dental experience ever
I am incredibly impressed by the service of this dental practice. I have always been very scared of a dentist and the possible judgement that goes with it. Dr Shih is terrific. I have never felt so comfortable at a dentist, and can recommend Kromboom Dental Centre to anyone that has an absolute crippling fear of a dentist. I'm actually excited to go back, which is a first for me!

I AM STILL IN UTTER DISBELIEF!!!
I have been petrified of the dentist for all my years until I met Dr Amanda Shih. Her kindness, sweetness, gentleness and absolutely outstanding knowledge has made me in awe of her exceptional Brilliance!!! She took her time to explain everything in detail and made sure that I was okay every moment I was with her. The service from the front desk was superb and I'm definitely recommending every-one I know....Thank-you Kromboom Dental Centre you are the BEST!!!!
