First and foremost, this mail is to express my disappointment, regretfulness and utter despondency caused or brought about by an attempt to sell my property. I was selling my property to try and recover and or clear my financial health and this is something that we explained to the Seeff Agent's Moipone and KVVInc's Hildegard, when we started the process back in August 2024. The horrid situation that me and my family have been exposed i wouldn't wish it on anyone, where an arrangement that was done with the buyer with either Seeff or KVV has put me and my family in a worser of position.
This process was supposed to be concluded by the first week of December 2024, according to the Agent and KVV, however because someone accepted an arrangement at our expense or us being the sacrifice it is now 6 months / about R60000 later, we are receiving the below email. At this point i do not even understand what this email means or represents.
This arrangement was done without our knowledge, moving the deadline from December to February, according to our understanding the client made an arrangement to pay the transfer and registration costs over 3 months which was supposed to be January and thereafter the registration will take 7 to 14 days to be finalized. My question around this is: Who accepted this arrangement? Why did this arrangement have to affect us, when we did what we were supposed to? If KVV or the Agency accepted this arrangement, shouldn't they have absorbed the costs of this arrangement and recouped the funds from the buyer instead of halting the process? Why was the buyer allowed to pay off the remaining fees only in February and who allowed it? Because only when i started complaining was pressure put on the buyer. Late November we were told that the client NOW has the money and will pay all the fees at once, we went ahead to seek alternative accommodation so as to inconvenience the buyer. After i went into more debt trying to obtain funds for the alternative accommodation, we are told that the buyer changed their minds and is sticking to this initial arrangement which they didn't even stick to. Why was this allowed and who allowed this?
On a monthly basis we called @hildegard@kvvinc.co.za to ask the estimated time of departure and she would always say next month. To a sane mind, i can't be expected to keep my family on standby ("we are moving this month pack up, Nope sorry we moving next month unpack again"). My family didn't even have a Christmas because we spend all our money trying to ready the place for occupation and to ensure we do not inconvenience the buyer when they wish to move in, whilst everybody had a merry Christmas and a happy new year.
We submitted everything in time, we paid everything that we were supposed in time. Even took time-off from work to make scheduled appointments whenever the attorneys asked us. We have been nothing but adhering and cooperative, however we are receiving the wrong end of the stick.
Yet my name which had for years been in good standing with SA Home Loans is now tarnished because i had to pay a bond and rental because of someone's lack of care for my family's wellbeing.
Now once again we are being told today the 20th March 2025 to vacate the place by Monday 24th March 2025 ??????? To accommodate your buyer? I OUTRIGHT TELL YOU NOW THAT I REFUSE UNTIL SOMEONE TELLS ME WHO IS COVERING THE COSTS I HAVE INCURRED DUE TO THIS DELAY AND SELFISH ARRANGEMENTS.
January 2025, we informed @moipone.mvula@seeff.com as well as @hildegard@kvvinc.co.za that we are starting to incur a lot of costs since we still have to pay for the Bond, Rates, Levies and Electricity not forgetting the loans we took to comply in time with your demands. It is the end of March and nobody is saying anything about the bond instalment due on the 25th March 2025 that still has to come out of my name.
I AM GOING TO PASTE THIS EVERYWHERE AND AS WIDE AS I CAN UNTIL SOMEONE FEELS THE DESPARITY AND INCONVENIENCE OF BEING INCONSIDERATE.
I HAVE BEEN FAR TOO PATIENT FOR FAR TOO LONG. AND MY SILENCE HAS BEEN TAKEN FOR GRANTED
