I bought a vehicle on the 18th of October 2024, the vehicle started giving me probems a week later, every week I would go back to dealership to report issues relating to the vehicle. First it was the water flooding in the vehicle without any knowledge of where the water came from, next was the brakes making a very scratchy irritating sound and they would tell me it could be dust or water if it was raining, meanwhile there was no rain in those days. After that an airbag light popped up when i reported they could not find out from where this light came from, following that the clutch became jelly, and the gears would kick me out while driving, my driver's window did not want to open or go down, the whole body of the car was re-painted and camshaft was welded back on, these all appeared in less than 3 months , when i went back Jacque Venter the owner of L&J refused to refund me my money or exchange my car for a new one, i had to trade the vehicle and lost a couple of thousands as they picked up the car was involved in an accident after thorough inspection and this was not disclosed to me. Jacque should have dealt better with this matter, but he couldn't care less. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone, bad service and the sell damaged vehicles. S****py dealership!!!!

Good day I would like to report Sibusiso Coka and I will open a formal case against him in court. We communicated via WhatsApp in early May 2022 for him to get me a cash buyer for my 2015 Polo TSI which he sold me in 2019 financed through MFC. He agreed and advised that he will send a driver by the name of Mtho 0782774568 to come pick up the car from me in Sandton. The driver came to pick up the car on the 7th of May 2022 as Sbu advised and also stated that I should go to the nearest police station and do an affidavit stating that he will take over all my car instalments till the last day of the contract and that he will be liable for all damages and then send it back to him which I did. He advised that he will also send me a deposit for R10 000 and I asked him for more and he advised that he will liaise with his boss from work then he will come back to me. He then disappeared on me for about 2 weeks, I was busy calling him and sending him WhatsApp texts on all these days with no success at all till his driver Mtho contacted me asking me asking about the license disc of the vehicle and my instalment amounts. I then advised him that the car no longer had a disc because police declared it unroadworthy as it was lowered and also ****ed. Mtho then advised that he’s the one that will be taking over my instalments going forward. Sbu never mentioned this to me as he ghosted me. Mtho then sent me R3000 (payment into my account from MN Mbhatha)stating it was the deposit then also sent R4847.91 (payment into my account from Smangele Khumalo) for the 1st instalment. Then after these funds, now Mtho ghosted me for weeks when I told him that the deposit is not the amount that Sbu and I agreed on. After a few days I now get a call from Smangele Khumalo looking for Bongani and Mtho. I told her that I do not know Bongani but I can give her Mtho’s number and I asked her who she was. She explained, she is the Polo TSi buyer which is my Polo. She’s been looking for Bongani (Sales Agent from some other dealership)and Mtho. She wants a license disc for the car. I told her I’m the actual owner of the car and she was not even aware. Smangele stated that she was advised not to communicate with me at all. The only reason she ended up calling me is that she was also ghosted by Bongani and Mtho. She advised that she deposited R30 000.00 deposit into Bongani’s bank account as she was asked to send the funds as a deposit for the car then she can do instalments take over. Bare in mind that I don’t know all these people. I only know Sibusiso Coka. I got really worried and tried to call him and send him WhatsApp messages several times with no success. I checked my vehicle movements through my tracking app. Thanks to that. I then took a taxi to Vryheid (Emondlo Police Station)with my friend as the vehicle was in that area. I asked for the police escort to where the vehicle was (Smangele’s House). She explained her side of the story to the police. Then the police advised that I cannot take the vehicle because the lady had already paid money for the car, I should go to court with Smangele and open a case.I got really worried and went back to the police station and slept on the benches till the next morning. I then went to Vryheid Police station to wait for Smangele and 2 Police Guys without Uniform took us to some room in the Police station to hear our sides of the stories. Smangele claimed to have bought my car new tyres and provided the receipt. The police advised that I should pay back the money for tyres including the instalment amount which she sent me, which I did then she was advised that I should take back the car since I have paid the money. The full amount paid into Smangele’s account was R8150(For tyres and Instalment). Sbusiso Coka called advising that he will return the money. My car is not as how it was when I handed it over. I also have to replace a waterpump, car has dents and stripped. I would like Sbusiso to be held accountable for this. I will not let it go till he pays for all damages. I have all the proof. Your assistance will be much appreciated.

So my friend wanted to buy a car and I referred her to Sibusiso Coka who works for L & J Motors. Sibusiso sealed the deaĺ and was then meant to give me my referral fee of R1500,mind you my friend got her car in August. I'd send sibusiso messages asking when be getting my money..he had all sorts of excuses and ended up saying he will pay the money from his own pocket before Friday. I'm now sending him messages and he is ignoring me. I called his office last week and spoke to a guy called (Jark) he too my name and number and said he would follow up and get back to me...its been a week now and I haven't heard anything from him ...?
