No fish in ponds !
I called ahead of going to the farm and was told that they stock the ponds regularly and there are as big as 6 pounder Bass in there. I was targeting Bass and Trout. Well I went there and fished for 6 hours straight together with 20 other anglers. Not ONE bite for anybody. They are a ****. Their ponds are dead !! Don't waste your money. Not even a sign of fish !

Highly recommended
What an incredible place. View cannot be beaten, food was excellent and the staff were kind, helpful, courteous, happy. Pricing was surprisingly affordable for the 2 course option when one can get a steak for around the same price at a chain restaurant whereas their Gemsbok steak was perfectly cooked and of a good size.

I have called and booked for a day’s fly fishing on 23 April 2021. I was told the venue opens at 7h00 till dark. After getting up early and driving an hour and a half from Kleinmond to get to La Ferme just after 7h00 on 24 April 2021, the main access gate was closed. Not one of the 3 cell numbers at the gate answered any of my numerous phone calls. We have now been sitting outside for more than half an hour, losing out on the best fishing time of the day. Ridiculous!
