WORST SERVICE EVER ( SINCE AFTER LOCK DOWN !!!
Worse service ever. You people take ages to place an order, send a proforma invoice and deliver. We're running a business here and have time frames to meet on our projects. Why ruin our businesses with your bad services. I wish to close my account with you people. Your services are really disgusting. Worse you don't pick up our calls when we follow up on our deliveries and orders. This is so frustrating shame.

Lafarge Cement does not want your business
I seriously don't know how this company stays in business. Attempted 3 times to get hold of their Zambesi branch, but the phone number listed on their web is out of order - trying to get help from their listed phone is just as useless. Left 2 webform "contact me" queries - No response.

Lafarge Cement does not want your business
I seriously don't know how this company stays in business. Attempted 3 times to get hold of their Zambesi branch, but the phone number listed on their web is out of order - trying to get help from their listed phone is just as useless. Left 2 webform "contact me" queries - No response.

False commitment
On the 15th of December 2020 I received an appointment letter from an employee from Litchenburg branch, to render security services with the Litchenburg plant. The starting date of the contract was for the 4th of January 2021. As a company, we made prior arrangement with not only new employees but also service providers in order to secure equipments so that the services start in due diligence time. Prior to kick off date and time, I at several occasions tried to get hold of the procurement department in order to receive the SLA of the contract unfortunately to date no one has responded. I also tried to reach out the head office, but unfortunately they never returned my emails or phone calls. I would like to be assisted with hello Peter team in order to solve this issue and use this as an eye opener to new service providers to be careful when entering a business partnership with Lafarge South Africa.

Lafarge is abusing the rights of security guards.
Lafarge at Randfotein is bullying security guard, the poor employee belong to an independent company called Securitas security services, they are made to clean and pick up papers all around that big yard while they are actually security guards. This is un professional to make people do a job which they are not hired for, they are taking advantage of them just because they are poor. Securitas security company is not innocent as well in this. I even took pictures with my phone and I'm taking them to the department of labor. The labor relations do not allow this.

Professional is NOT what this company is about
It would help if your receptionist was trained properly and new what she was talking about. I had to hold on for 13minutes, called back asked again - she couldn't answer my question, put me through to someone else who then told me I needed to call someone else on a cell phone (which went to voice mail) and still I have not had a quote!?!?@£?!@£? Called another company - have a quote will have the cement delivered tomorrow. NEVER to use La Farge.

Bad service
On the 18 August I called Lafarge South Africa sales person to order crusher stone as I am building a house. I could not get the quotations due to the fact that Google search did not not show where my house is situated. They could see the houses in my neighborhood but that was not enough. I tried my level best to tell the sales person that my site is at the main entrance of that location but that was not enough either. I was told that Google search does not show any entrance. They wanted to see the exact place where my house is situated via Google. It is impossible for Google to show the exact house because there is no house yet as I'm still building a foundation at this stage. Hence I need crasher stone. The attitude of the Sales person was not good at all. So I decided to end the conversation before I could loose my cool. This was my first interaction with Lafarge and I was hoping to have a long relationship as I'm still building my house. Unfortunately this was my first and last interaction. Mzwandile

Bad service

LYING AND AVOIDING SENIOR / EXECUTIVE PLACEMENT FEE PAYMENT SETTLEMENT
This organisation pays Lip Service to their Vision, Mission and Employee Value Proposition,. HR systems are fundamentally floored and their employees at high level do not take responsibility, lie, and have 'stolen' a placement fee from our organisation and this is NOT the first time. Their Legal just Bulldoze despite us having proof on our internal systems and from the employee and also admissions that they are so wrong! We are in possession of this confidential internal communication clearly in our favour and we had and have covered all our process steps. We escalated this to Switzerland and response there is also so slow. This kind of shady corruption and adverse business dealing has to be stamped out in S.A. and we as small businesses need support in doing so. Very angry and disappointed and in fact embarrassed for them !
