LAND ROVER JAGUAR BOKSBURG deserve a ZERO rating! I had the worst experience ever! On Monday 22 April 2024 my Range Rover Velar was booked in at Land Rover Boksburg for a routine service after the Serve Alert message had indicated that the vehicle would soon be due. My car was fully functional with no alerts indicating any kind of engine issues except for the routine Service Schedule Alert. At 5pm they delivered the vehicle to my home and parked it in my garage. The following morning when I drove the vehicle a "Coolant Level Low" alert popped up which was very strange considering the fact that less than 24 hours before the vehicle was in for a service. We had coolant filled and within a few hours again the alert popped up that the coolant level was low and noticed a leak on the ground where the car was parking. We contacted Land Rover and when querying the issue were informed that it was probably erroneously overlooked by the workshop and that they would collect the vehicle again to have it inspected. We then received a call from Land Rover Boksburg informing us that the Water Pump of my car was severely damaged and leaking and that they required an additional R14000 to replace the water pump!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOW ON EARTH IS IT POSSIBLE FOR A FULLY FUNCTIONAL VEHICLE WITH NO DAMAGE TO GO IN FOR A SERVICE AND THEN AFTER THE SERVICE HAVE SUCH EXTENSIVE DAMAGE TO SUCH A CRITICAL COMPONENT OF THE VEHICLE??????????? I BELIEVE THAT IT WAS DELIBERATELY DAMAGED. After the initial assessment on Monday, we received a quotation of everything that needs to be serviced and a DAMAGED WATER PUMP THAT NEEDS REPLACING WAS NOT PART OF THE QUOTATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT TEAM WERE VERY RUDE AND ARROGANT ABOUT THE SITUATION AND BLATANTLY REFUSED TO ACCEPT ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE DAMAGE TO MY VEHICLE. THEY FURTHER INFORMED ME THAT THE WATER PUMP WAS SO SEVERELY DAMAGED THAT MY VEHICLE COULD NOT BE DRIVEN AND THAT THE ENGINE COULD BE DAMAGED IF IT WAS. THEY TOLD ME TO HAVE MY VEHICLE TOWED AWAY WITHIN 7 DAYS AND IF i FAIL TO DO SO THEY WOULD CHARGE ME STORAGE COSTS!!!!!!! I BELIEVE THAT IT WAS DELIBERATELY DAMAGED. Misleading, offered me a voucher from sales department (have not recieved it after a year), poor workshop service under warrenty (ended up repairing it myself after) the Dealer Principal is above customer problems.

Had my vehicle in for a service months back. They were supposed to submit a claim on the warranty to repair the vehicle, to date I have received no response. The vehicle makes peculiar noises too since being there for the service. I called once to find out what is going on and again no response.

unhappy client My husband and I took a car to Land Rover Boksburg on the 15th June 2021 and we were given a quote later that day which we approved same day amount of R56k. car registration : ASD 001 AM Discovery 3. Our service contact person is Nolitha whom advised us that they will order the parts and it will take longer and we mentioned that we will need a curtesy car or rental car if the car is not ready when schools are closed, because as an essential worker I will need to take the kids to my mums, and she told us after confirming with her manager that they will have rental car around the 2nd of July 2021. 3 weeks later parts are not received, our car is not ready, we understand that it is not under warranty but we are aware that we will have to get a rental car and pay holding fee, I spoke to Nolitha today and still haven't received the car parts, and I wanted to know about the rental car we requested her to organize, that was not done, she didn't do it, now she is telling me about August, who will be with the kids until than. I feel like I am being pushed around, Nolitha did not accommodate us with the car incase come July our car is not ready. I can't leave the kids alone while working they are still young, the service is not good and we are not looking for 1 weeks of their car, I need it for a weekend while taking them to my mums. I have come to a point where every time I take my car to Land Rove Boksburg something is bound to go wrong, look at the history and experience with the Company if you go to my car registration service history with them, I get different treatment and they are not accommodative and consistent with the service and the people. I am almost paying close to R60k of service and when I need them to assist I cannot win. I am not happy at all, I feel defeated at all time and nothing good or positive I can say about them at all now, we have this conversation but they are still & continuously do the very same things they promised they won't do, I came to a point where I need to pull all my receipt and all the experiences I have received with this company straight to social media because I can't stop to think there's more to how they treat certain people. every time you constantly have to fights or complain with them. they can never be understand and considerate in one go. they cannot put themselves in your shoes , they keep adding more stress to you at all time. They will service your car very well everything will be on point but the amount of stress they give you , they make you over-look some of the good things they do in your car, if they do not represent good service they way they service your car, that is the waste of time.

Took my car for repair as it was loosing power. The problem was identified and I quoted on the amount to be paid to fix the problem. The quoted amount was paid. I was called to say that the car had been fixed. I went to pick up the car. I drove out of their premises and traveled roughly 1.5 km and the car started loosing power again. I then immediately drove back to their premises and dropped the car for inspection. I was told that to pay another huge amount to get the car repaired again.

My car was showing low coolant light for years. And everytime I took it in they said they will top up. Then the light will come back again. They mentioned something about changing the sensor. The car was not even 3 years old and I bought if brand new. The low coolant continued to show and no effort was made to further investigate the matter. All they did was top up. November last year the light came back and I took the car in for service because it was due. Paid for diagnostic bcos it now out of warranty. It was there for a while due to the door latch that was yo be replaced. When a collected the car after 3 weeks it was jerking all the way and has hizzing sound. I parked it when I got home because it was a Saturday. Monday I called them and the said it must be towed. I did so then after 2 months I received a report to say the piston failed dye to pre ignition. I'm way view the piston failed because of low coolant that was not attended for 2 years or so. Your engine could overheat. Continued use of a car with low coolant can lead to permanent damage, of pistons and cylinders. I battled to get a lone car with them for months now. The cost of the repairs is R177k which I feel it because of their negligence. Now they coesing me to give the directive to continue to fix the car or else they will charge me storage. They worked on the engine when the car was 3 months old because it was jerking and they disregarding that now that it us out if warranty they want me to pay for the repairs. Landrover Boksburg isxa disgrace. To top it all head office assigned a case manager who knows nothing about cars. She was unable to explain to me what the problem is and because "she us not a technical person. Why then is she managing the case. My car us stripped and I am now charged R150 per day for storage

A very good new and used car dealership. Nice central location which is easily accessible. There are a wide range of vehicles in stock. The staff are professional and very helpful. I was offered assistance as soon as I arrived. There is also secure parking on the premises. Worth visiting if interested in purchasing a new or used car.
