Booked a spa treatment with them, cancelled days ahead. They told me my refund was approved but it’s been 2 weeks and I still haven’t received my money. Everyday I’m getting the same story about accounts. Pay me back my money

Marcel the manager was helpful from our complaints about food because we were not happy and came up with a solution to our problem . From my understanding the customer is always right but PRUDENCE( acting manager) was arrogant and telling us we have no choice but to pay the bill whereas we were happy and calling security on us on some we don’t want to pay the bill for room service whereas we weren’t presented with the menu and check in didn’t specify when we checked Friday that we need to scan the menu. If it wasn’t for Marcel I’d rate this place -1. I give Marcel his flowers as for Prudence he has no customer service! Very rude and arrogant.

The most shockingly disgusting service, the pool umbrella fell and hit my girlfriend on the head. She was in massive pain, they took zero accountability and said the best they'll do is call an ambulance for our own account, the manager on duty Tyron Wyeth really has no regard for safety or the well being of guests. There was broken glass by the pool side which we just missed to step in. The restaurant also dropped our food and their best answer is they won't charge us for the food on the floor. We spent a lot and got injury and excuses for our visit. They claim the lifeguard is not employed there and since he opened the umbrella they are not accountable, as if a random guy puts on a lifeguard uniform and protects patrons for free. I don't recommend a visit at all. If something goes wrong you will not find any assistance, not even an are you ok? Or an ice pack. Pathetic. I urge you not to visit as your friends and family are not safe there, but they will happily take your money for service they don't provide. There is no hospitality in their service.

I have to say that Adriaan that is the manager at the Leonardo Hotel is a living example of racism. He is very racist and undermines black staffers that work in that hotel. He needs to be fired as he is not an example of a manager that projects democracy. With managers such as these South Africa is not going anywhere with afrikaaners that still think they can bully black people. Afrikaaners such as that Adriaan remind me of apartied times and now it's become dangerous for them. Watch out South African hotel association as you are already losing customer for fools such as these

We made a booking in January/February 2020, way before Covid 19 for accommodation at the Leonardo Hotel Munich City East. They took a 100% deposit. The borders are closed for travel, but they refuse to refund, and the reason, you made a non refundable booking. Even though I compromised by proposing to accept a voucher for the same period in 2021, as the Oktoberfest in Munich was also cancelled for 2020, they refuse, and are offering a voucher for 2020, knowing full well that you can not take it up. They say they are not responsible for Covid 19, but we are also not-that is the nature of their business-one can perfectly understand if you are not able to take up accommodation for personal reasons, but this is an international pandemic. Airbnb cancelled, another booking for the same trip, with no questions asked, money to our credit the next day. So, be careful to pay a deposit to Leonard Hotels, they just keep the money, without offering the service, and offer an alternative which is impossible to take up-they are also exploiting the Covid 19 pandemic for financial gain. Shameless!!!

<p>I've stayed at Leonardo Hotels before and it was good! However, this time I had to cancel my accommodation 2 days after making the reservation online. I've received confirmation of my cancellation but when I asked about refunding, I was informed :</p> <p>"Since you have booked an early bird rate, this rate is not cancellable and not refundable.</p> <p>Thanks for your advance."</p> <p>I've cancelled the reservation more than a month prior to the planned dates and they could easily re-rent the room!</p> <p> </p> <p>One usually looses part of a deposito when cancelling but not the full amount so long in advance.</p>
