Hey, I just got the most ridiculous news. WebAfrica and Bedmex have listed my account even after I gave them solid proof of a tax invoice with a big fat ZERO to pay. Can you believe it? I mean, I went through the hassle of submitting all the necessary documents for their wifi equipment and this is how they treat me? I am beyond frustrated, LexMed are ********s who go around listing individuals. Regards

Terrible service.Although they have your contact details they don't bother to contact you about your account but simply hand you over to debt collectors. Will newer make use of Dr Van Der Westhuizen at Durbanville Mediclinic

Very ********* and rude consultants. They charge you for responding to their emails, in just 10 munites they can say you owe R1800 on email and then seconds later an sms will say you owe R2000. the said i owe on MWEB Account, i then gave the consultant on whatsapp old mutual banking details for debit, then instead of old mutual she chose tymebank with my old mutual account number, just after they corrected it, i was then charged a fee and they said its a R180 Fee from my bank. suprisingly, it was concluded that i will do Fet payments, but they went ahead and processed debit on my old mutual account, i did not authorized the debit, but after a day i got a message that a debit is authorized but i haven't opened my app in almost a week. i have sent them a message informing them on whatsapp they blue tick and no longer respond. The first thing they should do when they contact you they should first inform you that note that you will be charged a fee for responding and then send you their MOE with all charges and not only tell you about it at later stage and whenever they make mistakes on their side on your account they should not charge you for their mistakes. and how is a debit mandate forcibly authorized without my consent. once they break all regulatory rules then they should be liable to settle that debt on your behalf.

Very rude workers who accuse you. They don't know their own email address. They send wrong info and then proceed to send you a second email with a stament and charge you R100 in fees for that email. Lexmed and mweb are a pair who are total ****s. When canceling my mweb service they did not inform me of any outstanding balance. Lexmed then contacts me (got through to me after months because my number was not in use) they they charge R600 in fees and when the wrong email is sent they resend the correct one and Bill be R100 more. 2/3 if the consultants I spoke to were extremely rude. They have no professionalism they accuse you of being a bad payer without finding out the story. It seems like in most situations with mweb and lexmed clients did not even know of their balance. Sounds like a **** going arou d

I was recently handed over to a collections company called LexMEd. The reason for handover was due to non payment of a telephone consultation with a doctor , please bare in mind that I was not made aware that I would be charged for a five minute call/ conversation with the doctor. On the 22-12-2023 I received a notice from LexMEd stating that I needed to pay or else they will proceed legally and I will incur additional fees as per the debt collectors act . I decided to just pay the outstanding amount, as I have been in the collections business myself and knew that this would just go around in circles. On paying the funds over to LexMEd I did not receive a payment notification from my bank. I therefore repeated the transaction and received a payment receipt. Upon checking my account I noticed that I had now made a double payment. Immediately I called the call centre to explain. They requested my bank statement, my wife’s bank statements, copies of ID’s … all of which we sent them. I was then told that I would have to wait until the 3rd of January 2024 as the finance staff were going on leave that day. I patiently waited until the 3rd of January and called back, only to be told that the staff were still on leave and would be back on the 8th of January. Today, the 8th of January I called back and received the worst treatment from the call centre staff. The First Lady hung up on me. I called again and spoke to a man and explained that this woman was rude and hung up on me, he immediately got defensive and started to give attitude . I explained the WHOLE situation to him . His response was that the finance people are still on leave . I asked to speak to the manager, the agent said there was no manager or supervisor because they are all on leave . I exclaimed that there has to be someone in charge as this is common sense! We don’t leave our children at home unsupervised, do we ? NO! So why would a collections company do so . I asked to speak to the CEO or the C.O.O but again I was told that they are on leave … directly after that the agent hung up the phone ! Brilliant ! VERY PROFESSIONAL! Your people are extremely quick, abrupt and pushy when it comes to collecting as they have to make their targets and receive commission, but WOW, let someone double pay their account and try get your money back ! You are treated like the **** of the earth!
