they need to get friendly staff at the front desk. Always gone there never had an issue BUT this last time. never again. I wanted to book treatments for my kids and myself. The lady at the front desk send me to the kiddie's section to find out their availability (are they not able to communicate with each other) I go down there confirm with the gentleman get back upstairs only for her to tell me they don't do facials down there after I told her the treatments I wanted. I didn't end up booking i was put off by her attitude.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience at Life Spa Fourways. For over two weeks, I tried to confirm my booking but struggled to reach anyone. When I did get through, I was repeatedly told, "We will get back to you," only to be left in the dark yet again. This level of communication is unprofessional and frustrating. Furthermore, there were additional charges that weren't listed on their menu, which felt misleading and added to my dissatisfaction. Overall, I would strongly advise avoiding Life Spa Fourways. They clearly have no understanding of customer service or professionalism.

Mel, the manager, called me, and she didn't show any remorse about what had transpired. I could sense that she discussed me with her staff. Booked the floatation pool. Water and smell was disgusting. Water needed to be changed and the smell was really bad. The shower in the floatation room had no hot water. The swiss shower in the change room was also not working properly. And the facilities were half packed up at 6pm already. Overall a terrible experience.

I had a bad experience with Fourways Branch. I have called and sent numerous emails to the manager with no response at all since September. My daughter and I came for some treatments yesterday (28 September), to the value of over R4 000. It started with facials which were really good. We then had manicures and pedicures. There were some errors I would like addressed • We booked Nimune Facials and you charged us for Optic Classic Facial x2 • My Pedi Gel was definitely not 75 minutes • My daughter had a basic bikini wax (just the sides) which is supposed to be R280 and not R360 • The couples room – we couldn’t even see each – its just a door that is open. • I had a toasted chicken mayonnaise which literally had very little chicken on it. • Also when I went to pay the lady at the front seemed very confused, couldn’t find my booking and didn’t even know you had a rewards package. This was meant to be a real treat, but turned out to be quite unpleasant.

I've been to the Rosebank Spa a few times and although part of the same group, it's miles apart. If you can go to the one in Rosebank, definitely do so. Fourways staff are not as skilled and the facilities aren't as nice, you don't feel like you're in a 5 star spa. Definitely check for #BlackFriday specials at Rosebank Life Day

I've been to the Rosebank Spa a few times and although part of the same group, it's miles apart. If you can go to the one in Rosebank, definitely do so. Fourways staff are not as skilled and the facilities aren't as nice, you don't feel like you're in a 5 star spa. Definitely check for #BlackFriday specials at Rosebank Life Day

This was my experience on 15 October. After waiting for the call that week and nothing arrived I then emailed this on 25 October. To date I have still not had feedback which shows that the spa has absolutely no interest in addressing bad service. My email read: I would like to summarize my experience on 15 October: • I had two executive retreat vouchers which I booked for my daughter and myself • We arrived around 09h20 and wanted to use the Swedish shower. It was so hot that it was impossible to stand under it. I climbed out the shower, walked to the 3 ladies standing at the hosts desk to advise them. They just said they would look into it and that was the last I heard. So I was not able to use the shower. • Then entered the steam room. Something was also wrong with the temperature settings as the moment I stepped inside, the vents on the side blew out steam that literally burnt a burn mark on my leg. My daughter was also burnt so we could not use that either. • Went for a massage with 2 people in a room. I was given the neck bean bag and booties towards the end. My daughter was not and she came out from the massage freezing whereas I was comfortable. So I purchased the booties and bean bag she could try it at home instead. • My daughter complained to me that when she asked for a lighter pressure the lady would go softer for a while but then revert to harder. My massage was average. • After the treatment I wanted to go for lunch. Asked the host where to go and she was confused and said I could pay for lunch. Eventually she understood. Went upstairs to lay on the day bed and order lunch. Lady came with menus. I asked how the lunch package worked and she had not idea. Eventually came back saying lunch was R140. Told her this did not make sense – how can I get an ala carte menu for a fixed cost. She called someone else who also said lunch was R140. Eventually I got them to agree that it sounded more like we have a credit of R140. They left the menus and never came back, at all. After at least half an hour of waiting we got up to leave. A gentlemen asked if everything was OK and I said no, that we were leaving as we were not getting served. He said sorry we had no power in the kitchen. • Went to reception to complain. Was told that it was strange as the heat settings were set each day. I am sure I was the first person in the shower and I can assure you that it was not possible to stand there. The lady took my details and complaint and promised I would get called that week. Still nothing. To say that this was an underwhelming experience is an understatement.
