Beware of Lifestyle Auto Inspector Car Centurion branch They sold me a vehicle in July that had a road worthy certificate from traffic dept. Once received vehicle already had issues with boot and sunroof. Later more problems with engine and turbo. They have asked me to return vehicle for repairs and have been stalling the process. They did not want me to take the vehicle to Kia for repairs as they didn’t want to pay and hid the faults of vehicle. Dealership doesn’t take your calls nor salespeople. Lies and deception from day one. Very bad experience for an inspector car dealer and vehicle is Not mechanically sound. White smoke from exhausts ,miss fire, turbo sound without accelerating ,loosing fuel ,loosing oil on short distance driving. I don’t know how this vehicle passed the road worthy without hidden agendas from dealer and owner Case has been taken to Ombudsman.

I recently had a very bad experience with Lifestyle Auto Centurion. (Inspecta Car) In short, they sold me a vehicle which was in a major previous accident and ineffectively and shockingly repaired. The vehicle was sold to me as an accident-free vehicle and I was not aware of the previous major accident and the ineffective repairs. All of this was only discovered after I had the vehicle for around 5 weeks. Based on the expert reports I received, I was advised that the vehicle is unsafe to drive. We attempted to resolve the matter with Lifestyle Auto Centurion but that was unsuccessful. We then approached MIOSA and presented our case. The MIOSA verdict was in our favour and the dealership had until 4 January 2024 to replace the vehicle or refund me in total. Unsurprisingly, we have had no response from Lifestyle Auto Centurion. This leaves me with no choice but to proceed with the necessary further legal action. All-in-all it may cost hundreds of thousands of rands and it could take years before this matter is finally resolved. In the meantime, I am paying every month for a vehicle which I cannot drive. I deeply regret purchasing a vehicle from Lifestyle Auto Centurion!

I bought a BMW from them in December 2022. It was sold to me with 4 (alleged) run flat tyres (note no spare is sold with the car because of the run flat tyres) and I was assured it had gone through the standard Dekra and roadworthy tests. When I went to collect the car, I noticed that there was a bad chemical stain on one of the headlights, which wasn't there when I test drove the car. The salesman, Max, arranged for me to get the headlight sanded and cleaned which was kind but delayed my hour and half trip home in peak hour. Whilst driving home, the sun was in my eyes so I lowered the sun visor. It came off in my hand. On the highway, I was doing 120km/h and the car started shuddering so badly I had to slow down to 100km. I phoned the salesman who said it was probably the wheel alignment or balancing. As I was doing a long trip the following day, I decided to take it to a tyre company to test the alignment and balancing. They were shocked to find the tyres were different sizes and only 2 were run flat. (How did it pass the roadworthy, one has to ask??) It ended up costing me R6700 to replace the 2 non run flat tyres and to do the wheel alignment. If I had gone on that trip with no spare wheel (travelling alone!) and had a puncture on one of the non run flats it would have been very serious. I have left countless messages for the Dealer Principal to call me (he's never available!!) but have not enjoyed the courtesy of a call back. The salesman is now also ignoring my messages. Stay away from purchasing a vehicle here, you will only end up disappointed.

I bought a BMW on 14 August 2015 at Lifestyle motors. Since the first day that I received this car I had problems. Pick up car, drove about 3 km and was stranded with no fuel. Same night I notice a oil leak at the sump, CV boots was damaged and a few other problems also. Phone Jonny the next day and he promised that he would come back to me. Never happened. After a lot of e-mails , Sm's, and phone calls, Ahmed phoned me the next Wednesday and promise me that it would be fixed the next day. He however had a problem to provide me with a car during this time. My car was collected the next day and brought back the same day, at 19H00. I was told that they did only fix the oil leak / CV boots. Decided by Ahmed. Phone them back the next day as it was leaking worst than before. Until now , cant get any response from them.
Took it for a second roadworthy test and it failed. This car was passed by the Roadworthy centre in Centurion with all this oil leaks. I was even told by Moot roadworthy centre that they cant test it because Moot and VTS SA Centurion has the same owner. I even tried to stop the payment for this car at the bank, but with no success.

Izak Treurnich
