I am extremely disappointed in the management staff at Ballito Lifestyle Centre, particularly in how my situation with a lost gift card was handled. After losing a Ballito Lifestyle Centre gift card with a value of R2,500, I contacted the helpline listed online. I was directed to the financial manager who allegedly handles lost gift card queries. From the start, she was abrupt, dismissive, and outright rude. She immediately refused to assist me, stating that it was due to my own negligence and that nothing could be done. No empathy, no willingness to help, and not even a suggestion of possible options were offered. Only after I mentioned that I would take this experience public did her attitude change slightly. At that point, she mentioned that she could contact the third-party company that manages the gift cards and provided her contact details for further queries. However, when I later attempted to reach out to management using the contact details provided, my calls and messages went unanswered. In the meantime, I went to the SPAR front desk at the centre. The difference in service was unbelievable. The SPAR staff went above and beyond, making multiple phone calls and genuinely trying to help. After a stressful and anxiety-filled experience (made far worse by the Ballito Lifestyle Centre management) I was convinced the gift was gone. To my surprise and relief, the SPAR front desk lady contacted me to say she had successfully tracked the gift card number and confirmed that all the funds were still intact. They truly made my day and restored my faith in customer service. I am deeply disappointed in the Ballito Lifestyle Centre management’s lack of professionalism, empathy, and willingness to assist. Surely I am not the first (and won’t be the last) person to lose a gift card. How these situations are handled matters. On the other hand, SPAR’s staff were exceptional. There is still hope for humanity, just sadly not reflected in the management of Ballito Lifestyle Centre.

In March 2024,i did an upgrade. I was told that I have 5g in my area, and I will get good service. Since then I have been going in and out of the store. Customer service advised that the store should cancel this contract and refund me. Store refused to do this. I am being made a laughing stock by the staff of this store.

I recently visited a shopping mall in South Africa and had a terrible experience. Here are the reasons why I am giving it a 1-star rating: Cons: The mall was dirty and poorly maintained. The stores were overpriced. The parking was a nightmare. The mall was overcrowded, which made it difficult to navigate. Pros: The food court was appetizing at the least, but it was difficult to enjoy with the crowds. Overall, I would not recommend this shopping mall to anyone. The mall was dirty, overpriced, and overcrowded. The food court was decent, but the parking was a nightmare. I had a terrible experience and would not visit this mall again. It seems like everyone flocks here because there is no better place to chillax at in town on the weekends.

Lifestyle shopping center- Bruce Renkin I fail to understand the mindset of the above mentioned thoughtless little man Woolworths food store is 1 of the most popular shops in the center FOR YEARS I have been pleading, BEGGING for a 2nd disabled parking outside that shop I even, some time back offered to pay for the yellow paint Now all of a sudden TWO PARKINGS have been demarcated & cordoned off for Woolworths click and collect I think it's pretty despicable & disgusting that little bruce feels that disabled people in his tiny mind have not standing in society (I have many more descriptive words re that thing but am biting my tongue) Being above as it may THERE ARE SOME FABULOUS RETAIL SHOPS AND RESTAURANTS IN THE CENTER This review is about the OWNER of the shopping center and does not reflect on the wonderful tenants

Beautiful fabrics. Very helpful staff who goes the extra mile to find what you are looking for. Especially one lady in particular, Dikengeng Qholosha. She phoned around their branches trying to find the fabric I need.
