Not only did they want to postpone appointment just that 30 min before the agreed time. They scratched my appliance, reported the issue and asked for pictures and went quite. I don't recommend!

Hi Malesela Thank you for reaching out and YES, I was very unhappy with the service I received for a few reasons which I will list here for you. 1 – I asked for two extra people, assuming that there are always two provided, a driver and 1 helper, but was told by the driver on the arrival that only 1 person is normally allocated so with the 2 more I requested, I only for 3 and not the 4 I was assuming would be there. The move this took a lot longer than expected. It makes no sense that you only get a driver if you fail to request more help – is the one person going to move an entire household - I think not! In the past I have NEVER requested more help and always got 2 people, hence my assumption. I am sorry if I failed to see this on your website, but I think you need to make it very clear for future customers. 2 – On arrival at the new flat, the driver called me to show me that one of my mirrors was not broken but smashed into little pieces. He admitted he was not around when they moved this so did not see what happened, but it was, as I said, in absolute shatters. 3 – A few minutes thereafter, he called me again to come and look at the rest of my mirrors. He then showed me and again admitted that they were wrong, as they had not been packed correctly. He said they should have been put between the bed base and the mattress, but they had been put loosely on top of a couch with nothing between the couch and them and in the move, they had all cracked into numerous pieces, probably as they went over a bump, was the driver’s comment. The driver himself admitted they were at fault! (Just for your info these were 4 huge commercial thick mirrors (10cm thick) from my dancing studio in PE and have survived the move from PR to CT in 2020 and then in 2021 from my brother's house in Claremont to my flat in Kenilworth – collectively they are worth close to R 20 000) 4 - As the new flat is a LOT smaller than my other one, I did not know where I was going to place everything so asked them to please pack everything I showed them into the second small bedroom. I also then helped them move as much as I could from the truck as I could see it was running late. As a result, I did not stay in the flat to guide them where to put the stuff, but was horrified that it had literally been dumped into the room, to the point that I cannot even get into the room and will now need to hire people to assist me in moving and carrying the stuff in this room. So, there you have the reasons for my rating, which in hindsight should have been a 2 or 3 and not even a 4. Compensation for the broken mirrors would be great, but I doubt I will see a cent. I will also never use Loadit again nor will I recommend you as I have always done in the past. Regards Needless to say I have NEVER received any further response from them at all

Loadit delivered a house-move in Cape Town last week. Their driver knocked and damaged a heritage-protected pillar on two adjoining properties as well as damaged newly painted exterior walls, and the brand new front door. As owners of these properties, we contacted LOADIT and their response was 'not our liability' and sent the driver (apparently now also a builder) to repair - making an even bigger mess. No one bothers to respond, their attitude is 'check the fine print' (which in their misguided view relieves them of ANY damage to anyone on any roads or property regardless of where it is).

So I've used LoadIt previously which to be fair was a great experience and the second time I used them however has led me to write this unfortunate review. Ref: JOB 56911 Firstly the truck driver didn't have great communication skills and at the outset just had an unpleasant attitude. The loading was extremely slow for a fairly modest sized household. Finally upon arrival at the destination the TV unit & couch had damaged legs. Upon questioning the movers they denied responsibility which is just ridiculous as they were both less than a few months old and in a new condition. They continued unpacking with an even more sour attitude. I called their Office to report the matter of the broken items, to which they said they'd investigate after I was required to send them pictures of the issues. I provided the said information on the 1st Dec 2023. After 7 days of no feedback I reached out again to find out what is happening. I'd like to point out that it's a fairly open & shut case. 1) Items weren't damaged before the move 2) Items were damaged after the move 3) Evidence sent Outcome desired either reimbur*****t of fee (partial or full) or costs to have the furniture repaired. Which I believe is perfectly reasonable. To continue, here was their response: "We acknowledge your request and time factor. The processes are still underway and once they are finalized, a call and full report will be given to you. As a way forward, the matter will be resolved and a humble request to allow our process to be exhausted until we reach out to you. Once again, we apologize for the inconvenience caused by the damage during your move with Loadit." Now that comes off as a don't call us we'll call you vibe. Which leaves a bitter taste. I wont be recommending them in the future as I've been doing if this is how they handle negative experiences.

Second time using Loadit. What an absolute treat! The team was once again very kind, on time, professional and quick with the load-in and load-out. Thanks!
