In March 2018 i contemplated taking out a loan. I figured Google would help me find the best company based on various factors. I found Loan Scout but opted not to go into any from of loan agreement with them as I'd made alternative plan. Lo and behold this year, they've decided to send me summons through Legal Lifestyle to demand a repayment for a loan & monies they NEVER deposited into my account. I'm equally disgusted by Lifestyle Legal who clearly did not do their homework and deem it necessary to bombard their administrators with sending out unnecessary emails to the public. This is daylight robbery and i am sick to my stomach from these thieves. They need to be called to order ASAP.

I noticed an amount of R429.00 being attempted to be deducted from my bank account. I fortunately keep my day to day balance low, by sweeping my balance to my savings account. Upon investigation and calling the no. appearing on my bank, I was told by the service desk that the amount is from Loan Scout. WHO THE HELL ARE THEY, I asked myself. Never had dealings with them and most certainly will not have any. This seems like the latest scam of people/companies trying to steel one's money. Be warned Loan Scout, if it accidentally happens that this debit goes off my account, it WILL be reversed and stopped.

I applied for a loan last year from Loan Scout SA but my was not approved, when I asked why they said I didn't meet the required requirements for the loan. At the end of the month I received a massege from my FNB account alerting me of a debit order from my account so I reversed the debit order and stopped it. Now am receiving letters from lifestyle Legal saying am owning R2351 for a loan that I took at Loan Scout SA, when I asked for documentation of the loan that they say I took nothing was sent to me only letter with the reference number : ********** 216086 was sent to me. Please people be warned about the fraud made by Loan Scout SA.

I want to make South africans aware of this company that does not inform their clients of the debit order loaded after inserting your information to see if you will qualify for a loan. This is a scam as no one informed me or let me sign any mandate for the debit order. Loan Scout SA is a huge rip off.

This company has a loan aplication form and the public fill it in hoping to secure a loan. No loan ever materialises. Instead they start debitting your account for so called services. When this is queried they tell you that a contract was entered into that is binding. A mandate is mentioned and they say nobody forced you. I requested a copy of this so called contract and of course they cant produce it. They tell you to go to their website. They threaten you with legal action whilst you have no idea what for. How do they still operate? I got an summons sms today that they said will be delivered by the sheriff of the court. I see 100's of reviews sent to hellopeter but nothing gets done? Carte Blanche story, will just send to them, these criminals needs to be dealt with and closed.

Loan Scout and Loan Hub is the same place. They are, in a word, unethical. I followed up my online application with a telephone call. They couldn't help me with my specific issue but did not advise me that: a) They are essentially the same company (and have my details already) b) That I should terminate the service with one or both of them since they couldn't help me. They urge one to read the legalese, sign up and then wait for help. Be careful - the have a massive legal team to sort out the issues (which must be many to justify such a well-oiled legal machine). Stay away from these guys - there are better options out there. Disgruntled Fish (got caught by this crowd).
