Lones on Homes were very quick with assisting us with a re-advance on our home loan...at first. Now we are struggling to make contact with anyone that can give us feedback on the progress of our loan for nearly two weeks! Can ANYONE contact us, please???

I have been an ABSA client since United Bank days and I'm supposedly a platinum customer probably only to pay higher bank fees. I applied for a home loan of R1, 6 Million on a house in Pretoria I paid a R385k deposit I had an existing home loan for R840000 for my house in Strubenvale in Springs which only has R50000 outstanding I now receive R11250 per month renting this property I have 2 motor vehicles financed through ABSA my Credit Card my Cheque account I have dealt with the ABSA consultants for the last year trying to get a Bond on my new house which my company paid cash for and ABSA just don't care I'm probably going to have to sell my house to repay my company due to ABSA's credit managers just saying due to affordability we can't offer you a home loan. The most frustrating thing of all when I first applied for the home loan ABSA recommended to make the affordability easier I need to cancel my flex reserve which I had on my strubenvale house which was over R750k which now I don't even have available to use. The consultant Shirley Roets in was ever so helpful but the credit managers don't care and just reject as they feel the risk is too high I sent a motivational email pleading with ABSA to approve some amount but they just don't care my live in partner has a bussiness account with ABSA for her own business and we needed to get our book keepers finacial reports and have them audited to verify her income ABSA wouldn't accept them because she never paid her self a salary so we implimented her transfering her salary into a nedbank account for a 5 month period and she kept her personal expenses seperate from her business expenses now the Credit managers can't verify her income because the IT34 doesn't reflect her income Nedbank are in the process of verifying the IT34 as a service they offer on her personal account.

it seems regardless of how long you have been a client with ABSA you mean nothing to them yesterday i received confirmation from Shirley Roets that unfortunately ABSA can't assist with a home loan not even 1 cent this is shocking i am today looking into porting my whole portfolio from ABSA to Nedbank which i never wanted to do because up to now ABSA was great for my car purchases 6 of them in the past my 2 previous home loans .

But right now ABSA are so far on the bottom of my list of banks just because they don't care about their client at all !!!

I'm so shocked at the poor customer service that comes from the credit managers ironically ABSA private bank contacted me asking me to join i said to the consultant you must be joking after all the issues i have had with this home loan application i was granted a conditional approval in September by ABSA for R1, 8 Million then the credit managers just rejected it just saying due to affordability

I hope there is someone at ABSA who is able to motivate the Credit manager to re look my application but i'm not holding my breath

regards a disheartened ABSA customer

Good day

Please can someone knowledgeable please call me regarding an insurance evaluation, as I was promised a call back on Thursday the 23th of March2017 before noon. But to date no one returned my call or given me feedback. An evaluation was done but now we are under insured as the evaluator did don’t do a prepare evaluation as we have a skylight carport and a net shade port and the evaluator says it’s one and the something. The skylight carport is not even on the evaluation certificate and no picture as well.

Fadeela

I have now received 6 text messages from http://www.loansonhomes.co.za/ Why should I need to opt out when I did not opt in? I don't who they are and I never want to know. They must be desperate for business. If they continue to harass me, I will sue them.

Please be careful when dealing with Loans on Homes. They provide a service of Debt consolidator. The same service can be done by any Bond originator at a much lower price and more effectively.

They assisted me with this and I have to pay R38 000.00 for a service that would have cost me R7 200.00.
The service provided is also not of great standard. The whole process took Four and a half months where it would have been much faster dealing directly with a home loan provider like SA Homeloans.

Please do your research before using Loans on Homes unlike me.
