Lock changed and not working
I would like to complain about this company as they are the worst service provider and their business must be investigate as they reap people off. On the 29 June 2023 Iog a call with them and they changed my lock and put in an old lock which is giving problems, when I call them they are rude and told me to fix it, the lock has rusted and i paid R3423, 50 for a bad lock. this company must stop abusing us as their client

I think that I have just been ****med by this company, quoted me R 200 call out fee to unlock my car door for me, in the end I had to pay R 3900, never was I informed to that's the price I have to pay, and they demanded immediate payment, I have asked to pay over 2 installment because this amount was not planned for, which they refused and said that they can't leave until its paid, that was very intimidating.....as a single female I truly feel ****med and victimized by this company, and would not recommend dealings with them!

yes they ****** people, i asked how much this is costing they gave me a 200 callout fee and fixed it while i waited for the quote and charged R4438.83 for the fix. I asked what they did they explain and said they put in special 10 pin anti-lock picking locks. i quickly googled and asked are you sure you replaced it with a 10 pin anti-lock picking locks and said yes and showed me one from his tool box so I asked him to open the lock he just closed into the gate. he oopens it and its a freaken padlock... he wanted to charge me 4438.83 for a padlock that cost R45(i googled the padlock its not a 10 pin anti-lock picking lock its a 38mm jaguar padlock) in the store... i understand markup and work done costs but no way this is ethical since he **** about what he installed. so he refuses to open the second front door lock. its damaged. he bent the lock so badly it doesn't open or close never mind lock. The guy got instant to pay and drop his price down to R1224.18 at this point i was so upset over the lying and work ethic i just said come fetch you padlock and i will pay the R200 call out fee. so far he has not responded.

Lockmasters.co.za is Extortionists.
We contacted LOCKMASTERS.CO.ZA to assist to open a y-key locked door at our house in PRETORIA. We requested a quote before hand and they confirmed the call fee. Thereafter, they send Mr. De Wet to the job, he came and unlocked the y-key lock for us. He then demanded that we pay him R3500 immediately and he will not leave before its done. He became this tyran and was very rude and intimidating. The payment amount he demanded for the general y-key lock he opened is exorbitant and rediculous and not what was quoted on the phone. Be warned to NEVER use these people as locksmiths and never let them come to your house. I called them and spoke to James, as per their website contact number, NUMEROUS times to get an invoice, which they refuse to give to date. Why do they refuse to send me an invoice for their fees they demanded? They are DISHONEST and CORRUPT in their dealings. LOCKMASTERS.CO.ZA is EXTORTIONITES. I had a very bad experience with them. Very disappointed in their service.

LOCKMASTERS SCAMMERS
Made use of Lock Masters to replace a Brass front door lock on the 18th July 2022 at a cost of R 1782.00 only to close the door and the whole lock came off sanding with the door handle in my hand. Contacted Lockmaster via tel 084 661-1452 no other way of contact then email info@lockmasters.co.za. I explain to them what happened. Now they say there is no warrentee for the workmenship and they cannot be held responsible for the work done???? How do people not have a conscience or good work ethics. They refuse to even come out to look what was done and how after 4 month the whole handle came completely undone. There is no PRIDE nor SHAME in stealing hardworking peoples money.
