Excellent service at M-Kem Pharmacy in Bellville
I would like to thank Nur at M-Kem Pharmacy for assisting me last night. I am a Type 1 diabetic and had run out of insulin before my next delivery was made. I called M-Kem at 20h35 last night to find out whether they could assist me at all with insulin. I was attended to immediately and after my husband drove me to M-Kem, Nur assisted me with a friendliness I will not soon forget. Even going as far as assisting my husband who had accidentally locked our car key in the car in a rush to get the medication. Thank you to M-Kem and Nur #WIN

Sister being very rude, uncultured
The sister on duty was very inappropriate towards my gf after only telling me what happen after arriving home, because she knew I would of gotten upset and would put that lady in her place, she went to get her tablets one day before time because we wouldnt of been able to come tomorrow and she had given my gf a rude lecture, this lady has no manners or respect, you don't speak to adults in such a manner. You better get your staff sorted very rude sister, probably because she is racist person and thought she could take advantage of such matter.

I would to show appreciation to the wonderful member in this pharmacy Leigh Hershaw. The level of care you showed literally made tear but i hide that from you. Thank you for showing care to a random stranger. Thank you for the advice you gave when you could have sticked to the script but you went beyond to assist me and that made me feel i am not alone when i came there alone and feeling alone but i left with so much joy. God bless you, may you continue to uplift another lost and empty soul like you did for me

bad administration nightmare
I took my family to Mkem on 9 May 2015 for travel injection and flu vaccinations. I paid the full bill with my credit card before we left. Eversince I keep on receiving outstanding letters in the post, first for my daughter D Bosch for the amount of R59 not paid.. I emailed the proof of payment to Mkem on 10 June 2015 and requested a confirmation that all was in order. No reply received and guess what I found in my post this week. An outstanding account for D Bosch and now also for my son X Bosch also for R59. Now they threaten me with legal action if I dont settle immediatley. What a joke. Waist your money on sending bills and legal action. Rather spent the money on getting your admin sorted. You may be open 24/7 but your admin is not operational at all. I will not be using your service again!!!

R1650 FOR AN HIV TEST
A trip to M-Kem on the 18th of July with a friend for an HIV test only to be told that the test costs R1650 and tests get sent away to the lab. Now firstly, I doubt this process gets done in townships for tests, secondly as far as I am aware, being a discovery member myself, these are done at any clicks and most other pharmacies / clinics for a mere R35 or paid for by medical aid schemes - and its instant results. PURE BROAD DAYLIGHT ROBBERY M-KEM. SHOCKING SHOCKING SHOCKING. WHY extort the hard working citizen.
