I brought in my 12-inch MacBook for a simple bezel fix and it came back in worse condition than before. My screen now has noticeable scratches that were not there when I dropped it off. Even worse, the tape inside the hinge is falling apart, clearly pointing to poor workmanship and a lack of quality control. What’s most upsetting is that I paid full price for the repair and their services are by no means affordable. For that cost, I expected professional, careful work. Instead, I’m now left with additional damage that I’ll probably have to fix elsewhere. Extremely disappointed. This is not the level of service one expects from a company that claims to specialise in Apple repairs. I will not be returning and I strongly urge others to think twice before trusting your devices to them.

What an absolute pleasure working with Jamal & Gabin, I spilt water on my MacBook Pro the night before a two month International trip, I messaged MacWave at 6 am in the morning and to my suprise Jamal rep**** immediately, he arranged the parts and Gabin met me at Cape Town International Airport and fixed my machine right there and then whilst I checked in my luggage. The service has been nothing short of exceptional and the team at MacWave pulled out every stop and made every effort to not just assist, but fix my problem immediately. Couldn't thank or recommend them highly enough. A Highly efficient & skilled team, going above and beyond to help out.

I have had an issue with my 2017 Macbook Pro on 2021 December, sent the Macbook to Macwave and was quoted over R3000 for the repair for a backlight cable replacement, which I have paid, Macwave has also said the lid was dented, which was true but it had a slight dent but the lid was like new, not a scratch on it and my camera was working. When Macwave sent my Macbook Pro back to me, I saw the Lid that was changed, not only was it scratched with marks all over it, I had no camera and the rubber next to screen is also damaged, but I didn't mind at first as my screen was working and I could carry on with my work. But 5 months later, I have the same issue. The cable had a 6 months warranty. So I contacted them back and sent the Macbook to them. The next day I get a quote for repair again for Backlight cable replacement of R2187.50 which is just for labor. I have called and complained that this is unacceptable, the macbook wasn't repaired properly in the 1st place and this isn't my screen but they are adamint it is, so I asked the lady (Zena) she said they changed the Lid and maybe the Lid had no camera, so I don't have a camera anymore, and I must pay again for the repair. This is an outrage. So I told Zena to send my macbook back to me with the cable and I'll get it repaired myself. Am not happy with the service I have received. If a backlight cable was changed I shouldn't be having this issue in 4 to 5 months.

Amazing, fast service from this company. I needed an urgent MacBook battery replacement and the job was completed on the same day and within 20 minutes instead of 2hrs. My battery is lasting nearly 4hrs with continuous use just as promised. Super happy customer here⭐

I sent 2 MacPros in for repair. We know one needed a circular logic board replacement and we weren’t sure if one if the GPUs has gone in the other machine. So we just needed to swap these from one machine to the other to test. In the end they told us they could not find the issue with the machines. When we got the machines back we realised the GPUs pins has been damaged by Lucky when swapping them between machines. MacWave refuses to replace them. Will never book a machine in here again. Be very careful.
