Makers is a fantastic butchery
Amazing quality for Amazing prices. It's also been in business for decades. Best pies in town for a super affordable price. The butchery also have wonderful old stuff as if in a museum.

Verry Bad Service
Today was my First time at Maders ****huis and I would Never Recommend tgis Butchery to anyone. I was standing in line to pay my items ,then I realized that I didn't had enough cash on me to pay ,so when I withdrawed my money and try to went back ,the one Lady was very Rood to me ,I just wanted to go back to the till and she said No .I must walk al the way back through the Butchery just to go back to my place in li e where someone was waiting for me . And further when I paid ,the lady was still very rood ,and I told her that I would never recommend the Butchery to anyone. Every body told me that this is the best Butchery with the best pies ,but the pie I ate was not much better than any other places pies.

Cash only isn’t that sketchy
The fact that i am disappointed every time i go there because they don’t except card they are masking some sort of sketchy stuff with the fact that there are old stuff in the shop and blunt rude people who work there

Sworn at by Maders Butchery
I had the most unfortunate incident today as I was leaving Maders Mayville Butchery.I was sworn as I was leaving the gate .I do not understand why I was subjected to insults .There were two white males and one swore at me.I had to reverse back and got out of the car to try and and confirm if I had heard correctly.The one who was insulting me was ordered into his car by the 2nd one who opened the gate for him to leave after which he told me that I was wasting my time asking him about the incident because he was on the phone and the one who insulted me dies not work for them but runs his business in their premises. I am still confused as to what I did to deserve the insults and humiliation , unfortunately I was with a 10 year old child who heard all the insults . I asked the gentleman what gives them the privilege to swear at a customer.I certainly hope that it's not race related .

Your clever choice to buy your meat from Rooikraal ****huis Hofsanger road Rooihuiskraal.
Compliments to Rooikraal ****huis. I requested a specific order and asked the salesman what he would suggest. He sold me the best Tender Stroganoff meat and I cooked the perfect Stroganoff. Overall, the Butchery is organised clean and neat. I can recommend the public to buy from them especially the Biltong. Prices are reasonable and variety of quality products tasty braaisnacks.
