This company uses counterfeit reborn kits from Temu and only paints them and roots them then sells the for 3 times the price and claims it's an "imported kit" when questioned about it.
If you are painting counterfeit kits and knowingly lie to your clients about their origin, especially those who are just starting out and don’t yet know this world, then you are not only acting *********ly but also showing a lack of respect towards the entire reborn community.
Claiming that counterfeits from China come from other countries, for example from England, is pure manipulation and simple greed. A client pays for a product that is supposed to be legal and original, and in return receives not only a low-quality item but also something that may involve a violation of copyright and the ethical principles of this art.
This is not only about money. It’s about honesty, transparency and respect for another person. Trust takes years to build and can be destroyed with one lie. Every counterfeit sold is a blow to artists who, with passion and great effort, create their works, investing in legal kits and respecting the principles of this art.
A client has the right to know what they are buying and where the doll comes from. A lie, even beautifully packaged, is still a lie. And if you can’t run your business honestly then maybe you shouldn’t be dealing with reborns at all.
If despite everything you still want to continue working with counterfeits then at least have enough decency to say it openly. Give people a choice. Don’t claim that counterfeits are less toxic than originals because it may turn out to be exactly the opposite. The world is small and the truth always comes to light. Sooner or later every lie will have its consequences.
People open your eyes to what you are buying and what you are paying for.
Yes, counterfeits are often half the price. But do you realize what they are made of? These are not safe blends. These are not certified, tested materials developed over years with your and your children’s health and safety in mind. Every legal factory that casts original kits develops its own formulas to ensure the highest quality and safety.
And maybe a question comes to mind... There are so many other dolls and if we were to judge them all by their composition we wouldn’t buy any. But it must be clearly stated that counterfeit dolls that resemble reborns are not the same as dolls we buy in stores. These are toxic counterfeits and we knowingly understand that they are toxic.
So why, for a lower price, are you risking the health of your children and yourself? I appeal to every person who owns or plans to buy such a doll. Don’t let yourselves be deceived. Don’t compromise at the cost of your own health. The effects may not be visible today or tomorrow but they can appear over time.
Children cuddle their dolls, kiss them, sleep with them. You, as a parent, by buying a counterfeit may unknowingly expose your child to serious health consequences. This is not about hate. It’s not about jealousy or competition. It’s about awareness, responsibility and respect for yourself, for others, for children and for the true art of reborn.
Each of us has a choice. We can support honest creativity, legal products and safety or contribute to a world where only profit matters at the cost of health and truth.
Sometimes it’s better to wait a little longer, save more money and buy an original, safe doll than to choose something cheaper but uncertain. That difference is not only about craftsmanship. It’s above all about health, honesty and respect for the work of people who truly love what they do.
A real reborn doll is not just an object. It is the result of passion, talent and enormous dedication of the artist. By choosing the original you support not only the creator but also your own safety and the beautiful authentic tradition of this art.
Think carefully before you click “buy now.” What seems like a bargain today may bring consequences tomorrow that none of us would want.
Choose wisely and don’t let yourself be deceived.
