I bought mahindra s4 pick up, to honest sinc i bought this bakkie i am suffering with lower back pain, even the passenger started to complain about the same issue, i do t k ow weather their seats are not well designed for human confort, I have visited them to explain this problem and their advice was to buy something to boost my back position while driving. I don't know if this how we should be feeling on our new vehicles. Very disappointed 😥

Our S4 went for 70 000km service on 13/05/2025. I checked everything when it came back and found that the motor looks like it hasn't been washed for years, the brake fluid cap was still open. A bolt missing on the air filter housing and we've been charged for axle oil replacement but the centre cap on the diff has not been worked on at all. Not just that, from January to May their parts prices have increased by double. Since then I have contacted Anton (workshop manager) but not 1 effort has been made to get back to me. You know, if the manager doesn't make an effort to resolve the problem, imagine how the service is. This is beyond me

My experience collecting my new vehicle from Mahindra Edenvale/East Rand was far from satisfactory. Upon arrival, I was surprised to find the vehicle was not cleaned and appeared dirty. This lack of attention to detail was evident in areas like the roof lining, which had noticeable watermarks and handprints. More concerningly, the agreed-upon settlement of my trade-in vehicle did not occur. As a result, I was incorrectly debited at the end of the month for a vehicle I no longer own. This oversight has caused significant inconvenience and financial implications. I urge Mahindra Edenvale to improve their pre-delivery inspection process and ensure that vehicles are thoroughly cleaned, paying attention to details like the roof lining, and that trade-in agreements are handled efficiently and accurately to avoid such issues for future customers.

Avoid using this parts and service center. They lack competence, and my six-week ordeal with them was appalling, leaving me with a debt of R35,000 on my two-year-old XUV300. I purchased this car new, but it began having issues just two years in. Initially, I complained about a persistent rattle from the front of the car, which they failed to diagnose correctly. The first time I brought it in, they claimed it was fixed under warranty. However, after the second visit for the same issue, they charged me R3,500 with no resolution. The third time, after keeping it for two days, they acknowledged warranty coverage and still did not address the repairs that should have been identified earlier. On the fourth visit for the same problem, after another two-day stay and a shocking bill of R33,000, they insisted I needed to replace shock assemblies and lower control arm assemblies—issues that should have been identified initially. I've also faced recurring electronic problems with the car: the tire pressure sensors won't turn off, and the center display screen behaves erratically. Their incompetence has eroded any confidence I had in this service center and the Mahindra brand. I strongly advise avoiding this brand; while their cars may look good externally, they lag behind competitors for good reason.

If ever you want bad service go no further than Christal Perosino (Senior Advisor) from Mahindra Edenvale. Her customer care and demeanor is the worst we have seen. She does not stick to facts She has a bad memory. She twist the truth to suite her own narrative. Mahindra and their staff do not have your interest or vehicle safety in mind. Stay away from Mahindra. If anything goes wrong with your vehicle you will never get it resolved.
