Great Atmosphere
What a great evening I had. I again headed to Malt Bar & Grill Silverlakes I must say it's always a pleasant experience coming there, so on both my occasions I've been there I have enjoyed myself to the fullest, the food is always on point, the atmosphere and music is always pleasant. I love this place and if possible it will always be my run away place if I need to unwind and just be in a happy atmosphere.

Great Atmosphere
What a great evening I had. I again headed to Malt Bar & Grill Silverlakes I must say it's always a pleasant experience coming there, so on both my occasions I've been there I have enjoyed myself to the fullest, the food is always on point, the atmosphere and music is always pleasant. I love this place and if possible it will always be my run away place if I need to unwind and just be in a happy atmosphere.

Horrible service
We visited Malt in queens corner. Im absolutely disgusted with the service. Not only did the waitress get my order wrong, she then wanted to charge me more by selecting the wrong order twice on my bill and then bring me the correct order. And then they only bring me my food after my partner already finished her meal! And to put the cherry on the cake, when I asked to speak to the manager, he turned his back on me and walks away from me while im still talking to him! No apology or reason for service or anything. Just turned and walked away mid sentence. I cant believe thats the kind of service you get for the amount of money spent. Almost R900 for 2 people with only 1 drink each! Ridiculous. Obviously we will not be going back, which is a bit sad because the vibe and look of the place is nice and we were really looking forward to going

there is always room for improvement
We often visit this establishment and are yet to be disappointed. Our experiences have always been pleasant, hospitality wise and equally so, gastronomically. On occasion we've ordered and collected, and again, we were not disappointed. I agree with the rating because I'm of the opinion that there is always room for improvement.

We often visit this establishment and are yet to be disappointed. Our experiences have always been pleasant, hospitality wise and equally so, gastronomically. On occasion we've ordered and collected, and again, we were not disappointed. I agree with the rating because I'm of the opinion that there is always room for improvement.

Poor management
On Monday the 17th February we had a business meeting at Malt in Silverlakes. We got surved by Moses who was ok but... He was very pushy when surving us and would keep coming back to order another round and we had full glasses. Then at ten pm which the website states the close he came to the table and said that the manager said that its time to close. We asked him to get the manager to come tell us personally that it is closing time but the manager cowardly refused to come tell us. We spent about R2500 there and we will never go back there. We were never asked if we are keen on ordering food.

Food was terrible and the manager is absolutely not mannered. Attitude and thinks he is the man. Did not serve me sauce with my meal but I paid for sauce. So all in all, I went there 3-5 times a week. After today, never again.
