It was a loan application ****. They are registered with NCR which I checked before applying.

They demanded an upfront payment of R3500.00. I requested banking details and made the payment to Miss Meadow A Pillay account. After the payment done I was told there’s an Intermediary credit screening fee of R 5660. I requested to stop application due to lack of communication. I was expected to pay R1500 to cancel for my refund of R3500 that would take 7Day. I was further threatened legal action for demanding my money back & sent letter
The Financial Intelligence Centre (FIC) is South Africa’s national authority responsible for receiving financial data, conducting analysis, and disseminating financial intelligence to competent authorities. The FIC was established by the Financial Intelligence Centre Act, 2001 (Act No. 38 of 2001) and is mandated to identify the proceeds of crime and combat money laundering and the financing of terrorism. It has come to the attention of the Financial Intelligence Centre that a transfer of R55,500.00 was initiated to (bank- account number ) in favor of the mentioned beneficiary. This transfer was made following an investigation initiated on 20th JAN 2026 (your loan approval date) contrary to Article 102, Section 36, Subsection IV of the 1996 Banks and Other Financial Institutions Act (BOFID), which prohibits transactions without clearance related to credit scores, this transfer was made without consulting this agency for official credit score clearance. Therefore, this transfer is deemed unconditional and ******* by this agency. As a result, the transfer has been halted until proper clearance is obtained. To release this transfer , you are required to upgrade.
I gave her a chance to pay back the money before I proceed the SAPS, NCR complaint & bank flag. She ignored my communication.

Our partner Bank (North Cape Reserved Bank) has requested that we transfer your transaction to the Bank Head Office for them to handle and finalize the transaction but it is mandatory that you must have an Account with the Bank. So our partnering bank will open an account for you to enable you to transfer the loan amount to your respective Local South African Bank account with no delays.
The fund of R15,000 which is your approved loan, in addition the R3,519.00 which you have paid for administrative charge to the Bank will be accumulated in total of R18,519.00 Payout and funded to your North Cape Reserved Bank which you will open, you will then make withdrawal at once. Immediately you have settled Opening your New Bank Account, it will get funded by the Bank. Please make sure you transfer to your Local Bank Account Immediately.
