I have scoured the entire web and I find it strange that a reputable law firm doesn't have an email address listed with their contact details. DOES ANYONE HAVE AN EMAIL ADDRESS FOR MANGERA ATTORNEYS??????

On the 27th January 2023 we have signed an OTP with the agent buying land that we were interested in, the OTP had all the necessary information including the deposit clause, which said the deposit amount will be held in lawyer’s interest bearing account as per Section 86(4) of the Legal Practice. These lawyers were hired by the seller they have send an email requesting the FICA documents which we were able to do so. Fast forward to now when the registration has taken place we got a confirmation that the registration has taken place on 31/05/2023 on the same email we we’re requested to furnish our bank account details to pay the interest that was due to us. 1 week later we are told that the deposit was not deposited into the interest account as there was a form that we were supposed to sign on the day I brought the FICA which I was never given to complete or sign. This behaviour is unacceptable as the OTP is the legal contractual agreement. These lawyers are behaving as if us as buyers we had a contract with them yet we have signed the OTP with the seller. I will also report this to Legal Practice Council.

Very unresponsive to emails and they refuse to return my deposit of R250,000 for a home that could not be transferred because the bank is in litigation with the historic owner. They represent the seller and as a buyer I paid the deposit as requested, move in day was supposed to be 1 November 2020 which has been delayed due to failure to lodge transfer. They continued to ignore my inquiries about my deposit and and now refuse to return it nearly a year later since it was paid. The bond expired in February 2021 and they've ignored most of my emails since then only responding when the agent contacts the seller yet they're the ones who invoiced me directly for the payments. I've also lost money on the bond transfer attorneys due to their non communication while collecting my deposits.

These attorneys are unprofessional. They are not interested in keeping you updated on the progress of a sale of a property. When you do eventually get a hold of someone, they are rude and have excuses after excuses. They are unprofessional and have no interest in rendering decent service. Do not use these people.

I would like to compliment Mangera Inc as they have given me excellent service during the process of buying my property. As a first time buyer I had no knowledge of the processes pertaining to buying property. They have been supportive and kept me informed all through the process, Considering Covid-19 and all the delays it has caused, Mangera has been great in that my house got registered sooner than expected. They have answered all emails and calls and assured me whenever I needed reassurance. Thank you and keep up the great work.

To whom this may concern: My husband and I signed an OTP on the 22nd January 2018 and five months later the property has not registered let alone is it in the lodgement phase. The purpose for the email is to draw attention to or highlight a certain attorney association; Mangera Associates, that I have been engaging for the past 5 months who are currently busy with the sale of my property. There has been numerous delays in the sale of my property but the attorneys are not forthcoming with information. I have to always "run" after them to find out what the latest happenings are. I believe they delaying the transaction purposefully for a reason unknown to me. This is my 5th property that I've sold and I have never experienced such a long outdrawn process in concluding the process of selling my home. The 12th or 13th April I contacted the attorneys they said to me the client has a shortfall, once that is paid they will lodge. I instructed the attorneys to place the clients in breech of agreement. The attorneys only sent the letter to the clients the 18th, a week later. The clients however paid the shortfall the 26th April 2018. On the 9th May I was informed that the attorneys are going to lodge the 15th May to date lodgement has not taken place and the attorneys has not had the decency to communicate the reason for the delay until I contacted them 28th May 2018. The excuse was they waiting for an approval letter from the client which would take 2 to 3 days as per Mohammed (Mangera Attorneys). My frustration in this whole deal is that: - the attorneys are reactive or as I have said they are delaying for some reason unknown to me - they conceal information Which ultimately boils down to their conduct and dealings being unethical..
