Sold a property in Mangaung Metro about 5 years ago, paid a lump sum to cover expected levies and water use in advance and never received the balance. The new owner registered at Mangaung and pays levies on time. Now, 5 years later , I am being harassed by the Hahn debt recovery section for an outstanding water account north of R150,000. Despite the new owner resolving the issue directly with Mangaung, I still receive calls and three SMS messages per week - seems the Mangaung Finance section is in disarray while someone must collect a lot of money for chasing non-existent ¨overdue ¨ accounts.

Poor service delivery, the potholes in Thaba Nchu is a problem and no efforts are made, damaging the tires of vehicles with no compensation, now there was a new park build it's been vandalised due to lack of security, what a waste of tax money. There is no main roads without potholes, even townhouses roads it's a disaster..we intervention from relevant parties.

I'm logging this as an official complaint of how pathetic MMM is. We have a water leak reported since 2024, they didn't attempt to repair ( still leaking) and now again 2025 another water leak has sprung up. The service of this municipality is so angerly pathetic that its such a shame Bloemfontein is so poorly managed by a decentralized governance. you call a call center and you hold a line for 30 minutes to an hour waiting to get a response. sometime the number just does not ring. what is the use of having MMM if they can not deliver services as it should be.

I am a resident of ward 17 Khanyelitsha in Bloemfontein and we have been struggling with service delivery from the party what we keep on voting for. Our council is aware that we have been struggling to get electricity for the past four years and when we go to centlec they tell us that council is the one who has to give go ahead and she is not doing anything about it. The said part is that we have poles in front of our houses just need boxes only

On June 3rd, I purchased electricity and received additional tokens for a system update. However, I’m now left with R2900 worth of tokens that I can’t use because the system is rejecting them. I’ve tried entering them both before and after the update tokens, as instructed, but to no avail. Repeated attempts to reach Centlec or Mangaung for assistance have been met with either dropped calls upon being transferred to customer service or no response at all.
