Maxiflex Dams Dear Public and fellow Farmers PLEASE DONT MAKE THE MISTAKE I DID BUYING A DAM FROM MAXIFLEX DAMS. I placed an order and paid the deposit for a 12m x1.8m sink dam on the 26/03/2018 as that is what capacity I need for my garlic irrigation. The order was confirmed via eMail on the 28/03/2018 for the 12m x 1.8m dam. The installation followed and the outcome was a sink dam of 10.4m x 1.55m. The technician installing the dam sold me B/S on how its not possible to use lining from a 12m radius cement dam to a 12m radius sink dam, so thats why he is installing a 10.4 m. This caused tremendous problems for me as this was a to small dam, Maxiflex dams folded my lining to fit the dam causing it to float on-top of the water level. I had to change all my piping to and from the dam... Here comes the best part.... On the same day I notified Maxiflex dams via eMail and phone call of the incorrect installation. Apparently the owner Mr. Riaan Swanepoel had to phone my back, but instead I got an invoice for the balance and a credit note of R2277 (4 sink plates). I don’t know mush about building sink dams but very sure you cant go from a 10.4x1.55 to a 12x1.8 with 4 sink plates. IRestMyCase. Johan Greyling Farm Dwarsfontein ********** 689
