Unacceptable Service, Overcharging & No Accountability

My experience with Maxim Taxis was completely unacceptable. The driver failed to indicate that the trip had started, resulting in a false wait time of 9 minutes being recorded. This caused the fare to increase from R69 to R87, which is unjustified and misleading.

To make matters worse, I was charged twice for the same trip, as confirmed by my transaction history on my banking app. I reported this issue to Maxim immediately, yet I have received no response whatsoever. There has been zero accountability or effort to resolve the matter.

This level of service is unacceptable and borders on *********. Consumers should be extremely cautious. Based on my experience, I strongly advise AGAINST using Maxim Taxis.
