Mcarthy Volkswagen service collapsing?
MCarthy Volkswagen in Middelburg closed down. I had exellent service there since 2010. I drive my fourth Amarok. They closed down without notice. Emalahleni is far from me and they dont pick up the phone. Where do I go? I Have a paid up full service plan. Is Volswagen closing down in SA?

Mcarthy volkswagen Menlyn provides excellent customer service!
Kyle Steenkamp from the Services Department was exceptionally helpful on both occasions that I visited VW Menlym!! Incompetence
I took my wife's car in to look at the gear box as it is dropping revs and power in 3rd gear. They also needed to look at the window mechanism as it broke and made a noise and scratched the smash and grab on the window. They called me in to come test drive the car with the mechanic as he said the diagnostic machine isn't picking up any faults. I came in and we took the car for a drive and Happy the mechanic agreed with me that there was something wrong with the gearbox. He said he would let the gearbox specialist know about it. Fast forward to today, I phoned them and he said there's absolutely nothing wrong with the gearbox as they cant find anything on the diagnostics and i need to come fetch the car. It feels like they are trying to wait out the maintenance plan so it becomes my problem. Coming back to the window, they fixed the problem in the door but refuse to fix the scratches on the glass. To me as I understand it any damage caused should also be fixed under warranty. It has been extremely unprofessional, especially the lying. Never in my life will I buy another VW again.

I am so mad while typing this. Menlyn volkswagen, you bunch of thieves!! Our gholf 5 gti dsg stood there for 2 months, about a year ago, do to finances we didnt have R65k to repair the car, so it stood there untill we could take it home. We decided to take the car to the mechanic just to hear that the following happened: 1. The backing plate was FORCEFULLY SWITCHED with a gholf 6's one, they took, YES TOOK, the orginal part and switched it 2. The gearbox oil was removed 3. The dumpvalve was REPLACED with a broken one Please note that the above parts was not quoted for nor was it the issue.

Hi I was driving a VW polo Bluemotion TDI 1.2 It has been 8years since my car broke down We used to service our car on this dealer,up until the car went out of service plan, the car broke down under service plan they fixed the broken parts which are faul pump and injectors,when the car broke down after 3years of warranty they told us that they don't don't fix they replace... telling us we should buy a complete engine new/secondhand to fit in the car which will cost 120k new one and 50k for a second hand
