Mecad Leacture and experience
I am just heartbroken and very disappointed with the experience my partner had at the school.
My partner had a terrible experience at Mecad Engineering School. Right from the start, I felt like he was set up to fail. On his first day, the lecturer told him that he would fail because he didn’t complete his essentials training with their institution, even though the one he did it at was equally reputable. To make things worse, The lecture showed clear favoritism during test times, helping certain students more than others. It was incredibly frustrating to see others getting extra attention while he was left to struggle.
We paid a lot of money for this course, but honestly, I am disappointed with the results. My partner would come home complaining about the computers which were painfully slow, making it difficult to complete assignments efficiently and was mark down when didnt get to do every to lectures satisfaction. Overall, the experience was disappointing, and must say for an institution that is presented so prim and proper i expected better treatment. If you're looking for quality education and fair treatment, look elsewhere. Because we just lost R 10 350. Because things werent done as one of the leactures wished.
I dont think the school cares about the money being spent by the individual and also about ensuring the students get the best from the experience.

The scope and requirements of our courses are clearly communicated to prospective students.It is important to understand that our training equips students to operate in real-world environments where mistakes could result in costly damage to equipment, materials, or processes. For this reason, we maintain rigorous standards to ensure all students are ready to perform competently and safely in the field. Computers and Resources: Our equipment meets all necessary specifications and runs the software efficiently. Delays in task completion often result from students not applying the correct technical strategies. These strategies, taught in our Essentials courses, are vital for efficient and effective use of the software and demonstrate advanced competency. Marking and Fairness: All assessments are graded consistently using predefined rubrics to ensure transparency and fairness. Sufficient time is allocated for each task, and final marks reflect performance against our high standards. Every student has equal opportunities to engage with lecturers, as we strive to maximise their learning experience and support their success. We also offer students the opportunity to re-write the test free of charge, but if prerequisites are not met, they may face similar challenges. Value for Money: Our training is designed to deliver world-class outcomes. We provide clear guidance on the required skills and preparation to succeed in our programs. Attending a course without the necessary prerequisites can limit the value gained, which is why we strongly encourage students to follow our recommendations for the best possible experience. Additionally, training completed at other institutions may not match the depth or quality of our Essentials courses. To improve readiness and ensure success, we highly recommend completing our Essentials training to meet the necessary prerequisites for Advanced courses.
