If I could give 0 stats I would, but unfortunatly 1 is the lowest, Customer support is completely pathetic, if you call the sales division their consultants are extremely rude specifically "Scott", I really hope he sees this review and also his Management team, I would love to recieve a phone call from this team and give them my own personal review about their wonderfully pathetic customer service, and hopfully they won't put me on hold like they usually do. Wonderfull customer services... I wouldn't even consider suggesting them to even my worst enemy

On a medical emergecy I went with a patient to Montana ER. I was totally ignored by the admin personel on arrival. One of the medical staff asked me if she could help and after I explained she came to help me bring the patient in and gave me the forms to fill in. The admin personel did not explain the procedures and did not inform me of any fees payable immediately. I was there five hours before the patient was admitted and I was on my feet and very tired. On one stage a docter came and ask the patient who's going to pay for all this, and he aswered the medical aid. She also did not mention that the fee has to be paid immediately. Today 13 days later I received an account statement for outstanding account. Hopefully I do not need to ga there ever again.

So the Co Owner of MED 24 Rustenburg asked for a private investigator , the entire day he has been keeping my one investigator on hold so the investigator sends him a friendly message and asks him if we need to go ahead as its time that's waisted at R800 odd rand an hour plus telephonic consultation etc. So the Co Owners name is Marlin he confirms that Please open a file he even goes so far as to send a location to so he was a bit delayed this was at 14h00 and confirms he is using our services and says confirms open a file please as soon as i get to Rustenburg i will send info requested and do the payment , so i instruct people to stay after hours at my cost to get is work started this man ignores us until 20h00 at night and then suddenly says o sorry he had two call outs and he wants to tell me he could not have the decency to just send a two second what sup to say sorry lets talk tomorrow, but i have to bare all the cost an entire days wage gone after hours wages gone and then he wants to threaten me with his lawyer that's now to say much about a paramedic and co owner of a company that should care about people so much to say about MED 24 terrible people skills , now i send him an invoice for the waisted time etc lets see how long he takes to pay

My husband was admitted on 20 July 2021 at Med24 Montana with Covid and was lying in casualties awaiting a bed in ICU. Although I took his chronic medication to the hospital and stood by when the doctor entered it on the chart, and heard him specifically give instructions that the chronic medication, which included high blood pressure medication, be given to the patient each morning and evening, the sister in charge of my husband only gave him his chronic medication once during his entire stay of 6 days! Apart from the fact that they never gave him oxygen, even when his oxygen level went from 87 to 39 within 12 hours and he DIED as a result thereof on 26 July 2021, they actually sedated him on 24 July 2021 and then stole his cellphone! I was told on the morning of 24 July 2021 that his phones were taken away so that he could rest. Who took it away and why was it not locked away as per normal procedure when a patient is sedated. Upon my several pleas to find the phone and even offering a reward for the return of the phone, in order for me to access his applications and information, I was given empty promises, but that is all. The manager of the Med24 as well as the manager of the Netcare Montana Hospital were absolutely not interested and merely shrugged their shoulders. They have cameras in casualties but apparently it is acceptable that a patient is given sedation and while he is fighting for his life, his cellphone is stolen - and his widow can struggle and plead as much as she likes. This is absolutely unacceptable!! Furthermore, one of the sisters, who was NOT in charge of my husband, was rude to me directly after I was informed that his phone is missing – only on Saturday afternoon – and furthermore she did not allow me to greet my husband on Sunday afternoon 25 July 2021 - contrary to what the doctor said to me that I am allowed to be with him - and that was the last time that I saw him alive - from a distance.

Thank you Andile and Mfayise that was very helpful today, in treating my Father who went into a suger coma, level1.0 You were very kind and friendly and helpful explaining every question in detail, giving us advice on what to do, if this ever happens again my plea is to everyone reading this, let's fight for these people increase their salaries, they are there when we want a life to be saved, we must take good care of them, they said that the patients want to rob their money and their medical aquipment, really this is not acceptable. And the salaries they get for the lives they help is also unacceptable, It is up to us, to help and stand up for them!!! Please help

Very bad service in terms of time, waiting and waiting. Then they charge an extra R210.55 above the normal consultation because it was an "unscheduled emergency" but they are an emergency practice!! Will never go there again.

Very bad service. They told my husband his temperature is 39.7 and told him he must sit outside in the cold until there is a bed available. We were waiting for a bed plus minus 4 to 5 hours. And if we ask if there is a bed available then they tell you they are busy cleaning the room. It will take 20 - 30 minutes. They talking ****. It took them another hour to clean the room and before my husband could get a bed. I would not recommend this **** place to anyone.

I have just spent 3 hours at Med-24 Montana and am utterly disgusted with the service and competence of the staff. In any normal country you get immediate service when complaining of chest pain. Not at Montana's Med-24. Here's my approximate timeline: 30 minutes just to get in the door. 5 minutes until I was showed to a room, I was still completing the forms. 55 minutes for someone to get there to do an ECG. She was in training, apparently. Then the weren't enough electrodes, so someone had to be sent for that. (Add 5 minutes) The ECG took about 20 minutes. Then came the patient history section - Oh, no pen or paper! After asking countless nurses, a few pieces of paper are pushed through. (Another 10-15 minutes) Then, Oh dear, no pen! Another wait and numerous requests. Finally a pen. (Add another 5-10 minutes) Random questions in no particular order - why not ask patients to complete a form for a history while they are waiting? Add another 30 minutes. After the history we waited for the doctor- add another 15-20 minutes. The doctor realized that she didn't have a stethoscope!!! Another 5 minutes for one to be located. The doctor was distracted and asked a few questions before an alarm went off for an emergency. Add 5 minutes for consultation. (I wonder what I will be charged for that?) I was to be placed on a drip for pain medication and blood tests taken. Then there was the realization that my temperature hadn't been taken! (I mean seriously, covid-19, anyone). Add another 5-10 minutes for a thermometer to be located. That was when I realized that this place was more hazardous than an actual heart attack. I asked to be discharged and was told that the doctor needed to see me! Another one? Another consultation fee? To anyone out there who actually wants to live - avoid Med-24 Montana at all costs.
