I thought signing up for a medical aid would be an absolute nightmare but I have never experienced such a helpful and kind person, Caleb has helped me sign up for a medical aid. he explained everything in detail about how it all works and gave me the best advice for which medical aid suited me and my financial needs best. If you ever need any advice or assistance with a medical aid I would 100% recommend him. https://tiny.cc/CalebAtMedway.co.za

Disgusted with Medway. They cannot even resolve an issue for over 6 months. They makes promises to get back to you, but despite hundreds of calls and emails, they ignore the client. Looks like they only want to profit from the clients premiums but ***** our money and refuse to payout our claim. Frustrated and disgusted with their useless, *********** agents, managers and consultants. They are **** because they don't respond to queries.

This is to inform those searching for Gap Cover to be very cautious of this company as they are non responsive and eager to repudiate all claims. They are very good to sell you policies and promise you the world, but they fail to honour these policies and find ways to worm themselves out of the claims. I WILL NEVER TRUST THIS COMPANY and will be asking my family to cancel with them as they ***** your money and have no ethics.

This company is very irresponsible, unreliable and a ****. They take our money every month, but don't want to pay. They always ask for documents which we send promptly, then they lose it and ask for it again and again and again. I am so tired of them *********** pensioners. They seemingly want to rob pensioners of their benefits or maybe someone is claiming and taking the money for themselves because this is going on for too long. They think we are fools and try to make every excuse not to pay out. So I hope that the workers who are so *********** lose their jobs because they stole our money. I DON'T TRUST THEM ANYMORE! They **** to us and cheated us out of thousands of rands.

I hope this message finds you well. My name is Joey Botha and I have been a loyal customer of Medway Gap Cover for the past nine years. I am writing to express my deep concern and dissatisfaction regarding the recent handling of my co-payment claim. After nine years of consistent monthly payments, it is disheartening to encounter difficulties with a co-payment claim. This marks the second time I have had to file a claim in the entirety of my membership with Medway Gap Cover. The first instance occurred in 2021, during which I was informed that my policy only covered Gap cover and not co-payment. Following extensive communication and the threat of social media exposure, Medway Gap Cover eventually processed and paid out the claim. Unfortunately, I find myself in a similar situation once again, where my recent co-payment claim has been rejected. I must express my deep disappointment and frustration at this recurring issue. It is essential for me to emphasize that I have faithfully adhered to the terms of my policy over the years, and I expect a commensurate level of service in return. I kindly request an urgent review of my current claim and a prompt resolution to this matter. Transparency and clarity regarding the specifics of my coverage are of utmost importance to me. I believe in the principles of fairness and accountability, and I trust that Medway Gap Cover shares these values. I would appreciate your immediate attention to this matter and a thorough investigation into the reasons behind the denial of my co-payment claim. Additionally, I request clear communication on the steps being taken to address and rectify the situation. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. I trust that Medway Gap Cover will uphold its commitment to customer satisfaction and provide a swift resolution.

Survice over the 20 years was good and al of the sudden they at extra accident cover that cause a huge increase in our premium. There is also no affordable packages for pensioners, so now we have to cancel our policy with them after al these years 😪

Medway is a scam. I am paying for a Gap cover for over 10 years. I was not able to claim from the cover when I went for a procedure in 2018. There were many hospital records which I was asked to access. This made it impossible to claim from the policy. In November 2022 I noticed a new deduction from Medway whilst the Gap Cover was still being deducted. When I enquired about this, I was informed that this was a funeral cover associated with the Gap Cover. This was done without my permission. I subsequently emailed a cancelation to them and followed this email up with 2 phone calls and a What's App message on their What's App help line. I have received neither a confirmation of my cancelation nor have I received any reply to my What's App query. I am an Educator with the KZN provincial Education Department. The deductions are being made from my salary and not my bank. Therefore the cancelation of the Debit order from my salary has to be done via the Education Departments Persal system.
