No service stood there waiting and waiting while staff wandered around. Not the first time. Manager not interested in helping or listening. Will not shop there again.

I visited METRO in Centurion mall. I was assisted by Godfrey. Wow. Excellent service. He knew his materials and products. He was friendly and very helpful.

Two years ago I had some upholstery work done by Metro Lifestyle in Carlswald, Midrand. Although my wife and I were very happy with the work done, we noticed some defects towards the end of last year. Since Metro Branch in Midrand closed down due to the impact of the Corona virus, I took the matter up with their Branch in Centurion. There I was gladly assisted by Karrim who arranged for the collection of the 2 Victorian chairs. The chairs were collected, the defects corrected and the chairs were delivered with no questions asked. I'm a happy customer and as they say "Happy wife, happy life." Thank you Metro Centurion

Two years ago I had some upholstery work done by Metro Lifestyle in Carlswald, Midrand. Although my wife and I were very happy with the work done, we noticed some defects towards the end of last year. Since Metro Branch in Midrand closed down due to the impact of the Corona virus, I took the matter up with their Branch in Centurion. We have had an awful experience with Metro lifestyle Centurion’s upholstery department. Firstly the work was not done in the timeline agreed upon. Secondly once received , it was tacky, untidy & unprofessional. Our furniture looked better before we gave it in (I have photos to prove this). Even worse they sent dodgy delivery men who apparently did not work for them to our home which made us feel very unsafe , damaged our walls while carrying the furniture in, had my husband help them and he got injured in the process. I am appalled by their level of service. I payed on the day of expected delivery after a call from them saying they can’t deliver without payment which is understandable but then they only delivered unfinished furniture a week later. I was then told to deal with someone outside the company who had my furniture. It was insane, half of my base was covered in a different fabric , nails sticking out, tears in fabric . They collected it, apologized took another 2 weeks to redo it and now I’m sitting with the final product a few days in and feeling sharp things poking through the fabric, patches of fabric not stitched in properly , uneven puffiness . Just horrendous workmanship. It was overall a nightmare of an experience. I am not even going to bother contacting them again to rectify as they are just not worth my energy .

I would like to thank Amos at the Carpet department for his excellent service. I needed a specific carpet but they did not have stock. He promised to phone me when he finds one for me. Nearly 3 weeks later I received a call from Amos. Today I got my carpet. Thanks Amos for such great service.
