What a pathetic sorry excuse for a business is metro clock and watch repairs. We handed my husbands Buren watch to just fit a glass on top, after a month we phoned and they said they are still waiting for the supplier, 2 weeks later we phoned again and they said they have the glass but they are a bit busy. A month later we phoned again and the said they have the glass but theyre a bit busy. Eventually after 4 months i went to fetch the watch and the glass which we have paid for, only for them to tell me they are still waiting for the glass. They didnt refund me my money and the technician very arrogantly told me they will phone when they receive the glass and we can bring the watch back. THEY ARE A BUNCH OF ****S. I took the watch on Wednesday 1st October to Deonne le Roux in the Kollonnade and the lady phoned me today 2nd of October to say we can collect the watch

I handed my Swiss Cuckoo Clock (original) in 22 February 2024 at Metro Clock & Watch Repair. The technician assured me that they will be able to service it and repair at a cost of R3500.00 They also informed me that the repair time can be up to 3 months and worst case 6 months. I was due to get my clock back in August. After numerous calls from my side to them I gave them extention time to get the job done, Then after I visited the store 4th September 2024 my clock was not fixed after I got home, I toke the clock back the following day. I was assured again by the Technician that my clock will be done on the 30th September 2024 Upon the technician instruction I went back to the store as per the technicians instruction. Yet again my clock was still not fixed. They told me again that I will get my clock today 09 October 2024 and still no word. I know the craft for technicians are scares with that type of trade, Been **** too and been kept on a line is unexpectable to say the least. I will follow up again this week and exercise my options on legal action on service paid for that was and still not rendered. I got a Swiss Clock Repair Shop in Switzerland Geneve where I will send my other clocks for repair. I am disappointed on Management from Metro Clock & Watch Repair. I can only give my opinion on customers to rather get your clocks back to the original manufactures for repairs. I know it will cost more, with that been said, they do not lie and promptly inform their customers on repair status accordingly.
