Metroplitan declined a life cover stating(336813842) "Declined due to health condition identified on another application" I did NOT apply for any health cover before this one,, I demand they tell me they got this false information from, this impacts the future of my health policies, where did I apply for them to give me such a response?

I am disappointing and extremely frustrated with the service received from Metropolitan Health regarding a Gems membership, Main Member passed away on 28th July the medical aid was terminated on 31st July with both Main member and beneficiary being in hospital and step down during this time and beneficiary few days into August now these bills are not being covered and the beneficiary was meant to continue on the medical aid and become main member but instead was loaded as a new member resulting in a late joining fee penalty note that these have been members since 2009, Not only has the death caused immense emotional distress for the family now we battling with hospital bills and a medical aid which is not active for an elderly chronic patient . Many emails and correspondence have been sent since the beginning of August. Absolutely shocking and heartless

Disappointed by the way Gems is treating their members. We have sent a membership application form on the 12 of August 2025, two to three weeks later they are telling us that only the manin members details are capture, the dependants are not captured, the application is still not complete, the staff are giving different turn around time as an excuse. How can you capture one application form for two weeks, who does that?, we are following up for the the 3rd time and we are told that the capture is still busy capturing for three weeks?

I submitted a funeral claim 2 weeks back and still haven’t heard from them. This is my second complaint and there’s still no response to my first complaint. That tells you everything about them

Metropolitan?? No man, I submitted a funeral claim last week, it’s been a week and NOTHING has been done. Doesnt funeral claim scream URGENT?? I have to call and follow up daily and im given the same excuse. It’s been a week! The average funeral claim is 48hrs and you know what? This isn’t the first time this company is making me come to HP. If you don’t complain they don’t attend to you. This is atrocious to say the least

This company is useless to the core. I have had a hospital cash back policy with them for the past 9 years. It pays a cash back every 3 years. Last week on Friday I received a confirmation sms that the funds will be paid into my account. I called the company to check how long it will take? I was advised that the latest is Tuesday. Today ts Wednesday and I call them to check what the problem is, they tell me they are waiting approval to release the funds. This is unacceptable and such incompatancy is not expected from such an entity. Their supervisor by the name of Danise was supposed to call me within 5 to 10 minutes as she was still setting up her Laptop, I call back after 30 minutes and precious Denise can't talk to me as she is busy with another client (a more deserving client I suppose) PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. THEIR WORK ETHIC IS SUB HUMAN THEIR SRAFF IS UNPROFESSIONAL, THEY ARE ****S
