I asked to have my eyeliner and lip blush done by Suzanne as she had a special on. She asked me to do a eft ahead of time which I wasn't too comfortable with but did it anyway. The lips was R950 so I said it's going to be too much for me because you still have to pay for the touch up. She then said if I eft the R950 immediately she will include the touch up so I did. So anyhow i said to her we must set a date for my touch up. Then she tells me i must pay all this money for the touch up. I said to her no you said the lip touch up is free. She said why would she tell me it's free? I send her the messages where she told me so. Then she said sorry she made a mistake but she cannot do it for free. Understandably I was ****ed. I told her I now wasted R950 on that. Plus I paid an extra R340 for shading that was not done. That money is gone too. The eyeliner touch up now went from R650 to R990. And that's where everything went down hill. All was good in the beginning when I was paying though. She also told me to stop my warfarin for 3 days before the procedure. I put myself at risk for an embolism. I did not know this until I spoke to my doctor. He was not happy. I trusted her because she said she tells all her clients on blood thinners to stop a few days before the procedure. So anyway after speaking to my doctor I decided to go for the touch up and typed out an indemnity form that she won't be liable if anything goes wrong with me. I only did this because i didn't have any severe bleeding the first time. But she was actually by no means qualified to tell me to go off my meds to begin with. And I was stupid to listen to her. Anyway like I said everything went downhill. We started fighting back and forth and I said I will never ever recommend her. She then said my attitude is concerning to her. Then she says ok she will do my lips in which I declined. Why on earth would I allow her to touch my face after all that bickering. I'm just so upset because i spend in total R 1940 and what i got was one session eye liner and one session lip blush. In the beginning i was concerned about how my eyes looked. I then realised it was just the bad bruising and swelling. I apologised to her and said that its actually looking nice. And after that is where the money issues started. Please ladies do your homework and don't be fooled by pictures.

I was following the page for a while before I decided to book a treatment. Have been looking into powdered brows for a while and eventually decided to have them done. She has promotions all the time for her students that’s training. After she assured me that she’ll be doing most of the work and finishing off I went for it. Assuring me she wouldn’t let a mistake happen. I ended up with brows that are uneven. I messaged her a couple of weeks later explaining that I’m not happy with the shape and look and asked if it could be corrected. She said yes no problem we can do it with the touch up appointment. I asked her to let me know when there’s availability and it’s almost a year later and no word. She also expects clients to pay before the time for a service which I refused. I paid on the day. At this point I’m too afraid to have my brows fixed. Terrified that someone else will make them worse. So I’ve just been using a brow definer every day so the mistakes aren’t visible.

Unfortunately I haven't had the greatest of experiences, due to unforseen circumstances, I had to cancel an appointment and asked for a refund (after being informed that I need to pay the full amount for a service). It's been over a month already, and I still haven't received a full refund as yet - I've received my refund in drips and drabs, and whenever I ask for an update regarding the outstanding amount, there is always some sort of an excuse, promises of the refund to be made following day, when the next day comes - still no refund has been done. I'm honestly disappointed, as I had to pay my money upfront into her bank account and have it cleared that same day, but can't seem to get it back, especially if a service hasn't been rendered. As I said, when you contact Suzanne, she either ignores your message, or, there's always an excuse (she was in hospital, power outages, a student hasn't paid her, stock expenses therefore not enough cashflow, but as a business - shouldn't you make provision for such things?). A person tries to be patient, but how patient can one continue to be? Very disappointed and definitely wouldn't recommend her. Think twice before booking, especially if you would need to cancel and ask for a refund.

I have always wanted to do permanent makeup due to my fair skin and fair brows etc. I received a recommendation from a friend that had done her brows here and I liked her facebook page and followed it for quite some time to see her work. I had a facial done, as well as a brow tint and thread, to see what her work was like, prior to booking the permanent make up. Before doing my brows, many appointments were moved and cancelled last minute but she always had a plausable excuse, so I overlooked this. (Excuses included other appointments running over, she hurt her back, her power is off, her stock didnt arrive, she dropped all her anesthetic on the floor etc etc). When I eventually had my brows done, I was over the moon as The first time in my life I had visible brows. Once they healed, they were patchy and not even, and she assured me this is part of the process and the touch up will fix everything. I had in the mean time also paid for my eyeliner to be done. I once again struggled to get appointments with her and it kept on being moved. When the day finally arrived, i was told it will be in her studio out of town, but then when I arrived, she then advised that she is working from a salon in town that day. This all after I confirmed the appointment is at her studio. I rushed to the salon, only for her to then say she cannot work on me because I had been on antibiotics recently. She sent me away without a date for a next appointment. I rebooked and I finally went in for my eyebrows and liner, my eyebrows touch up was done but it was still patchy and not the same thickness on the sides. The liner was virtually no existant and didnt look like i had anything done. My touch up was even worse as it was so painful and she kept saying I bleed to much. The touch up healed but you cannot see any liner, its grey and my foundation covers it. She blamed my bleeding and the fact that I have oily skin. The entire process went south with the touch ups. It felt like i was a nuisance and she just wanted to get it done( the promotion included touch ups so it felt like because it is “free”, I cant complain). My brows faded quick and I saw she had another “special”, and stupidly I messaged her for a colour boost as she previously said my oily skin would leave it fading quicker. This was late evening on a friday, to which she promptly responded and told me to do an EFT payment to confirm my booking and if I can have the payment clear immediately as she had to buy stock for me. I comp**** and made payment. The day before the appointment she started with her excuses again, and asked if I can move to tomorrow as she dropped her anasthetic and needed to order in. I obliged. The next day she advised me she cannot meet at the salon, and I needed to come to her studio as that suited her better(this was 2 hours before my appointment). At this point I just wanted beautiful brows and I just sucked it up and went to the new location. She did my brows, all the while saying I am bleeding too much and she has to do it deeper and with other colours to make it stick. She made me feel like Something was wrong with me. The minute I got into my car, I realized that my brows were a mess. One arch was super high and the brows didnt match, were uneven and one was above my natural hair line. I immediately messaged her and she just said, we will fix at the touch up and I will only charge you cost price. I demanded my money back and said I am too traumatised to return to her. I was so hopeful to have beautiful eyebrows. I got caught up with her beauty and her photos on her site, that I stupidly allowed her to take advantage of me time and time again. I would not recommend her. She is lovely the first time when you pay, but then becomes rude and never makes you leave feeling good about the interaction. I am now stuck with brows that are botched and need to be fixed by spending more money. I asked for a refund, but sadly have not been received this...... LK
