MWPF is very corrupted. I was registered as beneficiary for my father who past away 2016 working in a mine in Welkom. There were three of us listed as beneficiaries me and my brother who passed away in 2018 plus another person who we have never heard of before nor met. As the sole beneficiary who is known left, they told me they will do an investigation about the third person. But up until now 2023 they say they are still doing and investigation. Funny thing is that TEBA BANK is the one who conducts investigations on their behalf, and i am in contact with them....they say they have given up on this unknown person and gave that report to MWPF and recommended that the funds must be released to me. They are playing hide and sick everytime. Michael Ngomane working at MWPF is aware of my case because he applied for me initially while he was still working for a branch in QUEENSTOWN, but since he is in head office he acts as if doesn't know me. I will not rest up until I am paid what is rightfully mine. I will knock on each and every door there is to get this money. Maybe now it's more than R400 000 since i was showed in Mthatha branch. Anyone who can help me or point me to the right direction please contact me at 0684157462 or clmnxeba@gmail.com. Thank you in advance

My father was working for Middleburg Mine and registered under Mine Workers Provident fund, He past on 2007 three of his children were registered as beneficiaries but only two of them did get some compensation of which the third child disappeared 2005 and his no where to be found. Its It's been thirteen years since my my father past, what's happening with the money that was not paid out. Every time you phone the fund there is no straight answer.

I received an email from a ICTS tracing company a few months ago with regards to unpaid provident funds that are due to me, and I was told that I would be sent the applicable documents to claim within 2 days. To this day I still have not received anything, and when I tried to get hold of the company again, the email came back with an error message. I have tried to contact Mine Workers Provident Fund via various means but I could either not get through or emails were just not answered. I finally managed to find /www.mwpf.co.za and tried to submit a claim via their website, but the upload feature just hangs. I sent an email to the email address listed on the site, once again, no reply. I finally managed to get through to the number on their site after a few days of trying, just to be met with a person answering that could not give me any coherent information. I was given the email ********** to send an enquiry to, I am still waiting for a reply. Why is it so impossible to be able to claim funds that are supposedly due to me? I have looked on the system at the above given website, and it does state that there are outstanding monies, but I cannot get anyone to pay attention to my enquiries. Is there anyone that can help me in this regard?

Good Day, I wanted assistance concerning the the challenge that people are facing after the mines has been shut down in Carletonville, they were promised that they will receive their money after three weeks but it stretched to 8 weeks, people are struggling to look after their families and some are coming from the neighborhood of South Africa they don't have a place to stay talk less of the transport to go back home. The mine will only allow them to their hostels for a period of 5days and after that5 days you must leave irrespective of your present situation.

My husband went on 18 July 2016 to the Mine Workers Provident Fund that is situated at the Sibanye Gold Mine, Carletonville. He resigned from his work and due to that he wanted his Provident Fund to be paid out.

He submitted all the relevant and necessary papers. He is then told that he will get the money within 4 weeks after prosessing.

He went there yesterday, 12 September 2016 and they told him that they are trying to call him for several weeks now. He showed his phone to them and they said the number is not on there. Then they told him that he don't have a tax number so they can prosess his request. He told them but he gave all the papers and documents to them. They just said sorry and then ignored him further.

We hope that you can help us, because we wanted the money desperatedly so that we can pay our home loan with that.

We can't even pay our other debt.

Every time somene tells me that they will attend to this and update me, but I must phone back if no payment is received. What can I do to speed things up?
