I encountered them calling me offering me a router, I agreed to it however later they called and I rejected the offer for a router. This month I have been debited after stating that I have Wi-Fi in the house and I no longer interested in the deal.

Never make any business with mobile talk. They are ****ming people of the money. They pretend to be selling on behalf of Telkom but pushing their own agenda and take money from you. I agreed to get pocket router that comes with monthly data of 30gig early last month, up until today I still haven’t received it but on the 25 March they took R199 from my account. I complaint to Telkom, and Telkom has no record of my application. I called them to complain and demand my money to be refunded they refused. I’m not gonna stop until the company is closed. I don’t mind paying lawyers to take them to court. They better refund my money now or wait and see what I’ll do to them

Never make any business with mobile talk. They are ****ming people of the money. They pretend to be selling on behalf of Telkom but pushing their own agenda and take money from you. I complaint to Telkom, and Telkom has no record of my application. I called them to complain and demand my money to be refunded they refused. I’m not gonna stop until the company is closed. They called me to sell mobile rooter and data on behalf of Telkom. Agent and Team Leader spoke to me about this and said first payment will be more than the monthly payment and asked me to approve Debicheck. Which I did only to find that they ******* me into signing for something I don’t need and never in my rightful mind will do. Our agreement was for first payment to go through end of April and that router will be delivered on 2 to 3 days. I waited for full 3 weeks for delivery. After 3 weeks on the 20th March 2025 I received sms saying my application was approved. On the 25th March 2025 an amount of R199 was debited from my account. I got angry and accused Telkom of taking my money before delivering the product and on the wrong date. Only to find they sold this product that I do not under false pretense, which is *****ulent. I called them to refund my money and they said that’s not gonna happen and they are still going to debit my account again. I approved Debicheck with believe that it’s for wifi router nothing else. Never do business with mobile talk. They operate under false pretenses and you never able to contact them. They have virtually been *****ing money out of my account. They come through as a client of Telkom but they offer their own products with it which doesn't even work or show up. They can even change contracts and get around debi check mandates without your permission. I've been battling with no results whatsoever. Be careful people they are very shady

I signed up last year around October 2023 for a pocket router with two Sims, they added their own things (showmax & stuff). I called them, it got fixed. This year around April 2024 I sent an email for cancelation due to loss of income, they kept on debiting my account,I went to telkom offices, they said they can not assist me,I need to contact those people directly and failed to provide me with their contact details, then someone from their offices called me. I made payment arrangements with them by then I was owing R540 to them & 0 to the bank, came month end I paid R100 which was the agreement, but still they did not cancel and did not deduct that amount either, been trying to contact them with no luck of assistance, their still debiting my account till date and I now owe them R1200 and I owe the bank R250 for bounced debit orders.

I would like to advice all not to take, agree or accept contracts via phone from Mobile Talk. The telemarketers are so sly and basically manipulate customers to take the sim card even though you tell them that the night surfer data will be of no use to me because we are not internet junkies. They nag and nag until I give in. Two months down the line the debit did not go through and I emailed them asking for banking details to make a manual payment. I struggled to get the banking details and still after making the manual payment, they did not even pick it up on their system and they charged me 5 times the amount the month after. Rather do contracts over the counter. I have learned my lesson with accepting contracts via the phone with Mobile Talk.
