Inflated charges - incorrect billing.
I called Monsoon irrigation when my borehole was not switching on. They sent someone out and they pressed the reset button and left shortly thereafter. During this time Tshepo, the technician was on his telephone twice and also stood in front of my gates calling someone back. This is relevant because the company ended up saying that the person was here 45 min long when in actual fact they were no longer than five minutes, without any work being done. They ended up charging me for labour and for electrical work besides the call out. When I complained about the invoice, Kevin said they won’t do work at my site again. I certainly won’t want them to either. Kevin is not charging for cost or expertise, they will inflate the clients bill as they see fit for what ever reason. They also did not confirm upfront what they will charge. I don't have a problem to pay a fair bill but I have a major problem with companies that ****** their clients and then make as if it is the clients fault. Terrible company and terrible people. Never again!

Terrible service and outrageous charges
Terrible service. After using Monsoon Irrigation for many years, I was extremely disappointed with their last repair of my irrigation system. They had to come back numerous times and the leaks are still not repaired. What they have charged me so far is outrageous, and they have a bad attitude when you complain that what you have been charged for is still not repaired.

Terrible service and outrageous charges
Terrible service. After using Monsoon Irrigation for many years, I was extremely disappointed with their last repair of my irrigation system. They had to come back numerous times and the leaks are still not repaired. Monsoon - worst customer service and knowledge of their own product
We engaged Monsoon to install an Inline water solution. The sales person provided the solution and we opted for the in-tank pump. It was confirmed the tank was available, then just after that once we had followed up for the umpteenth time, the pump was not available. So we agreed to go ahead with the external pump. Again, we had to chase them for an installation date. Just complete lack of service. The sale was made, but there was no follow through or customer service. System was installed (the workmen were brilliant FYI). We requested an electrician to do the final cabling, the sales person promised it would happen on the Friday...and nope, but the Sales guy had to leave and clock out because he had to move a couch and it was clearly more important than ensuring we had a working system. On closer inspection the next week and getting to grips with the installation, we noted that the "inline" valve was not installed. So again, we go through the calling and waiting process. Extra valve is installed. Over the weekend, the pump keeps dropping to 1,2kpa and cycling like that for 30 min (not good). We reset.... seems fine and then starts again. Call Monsoon back to check it out - they don't know. Repeat of issue, call them back - manager comes out, oh yes not right, takes unit away to have checked. Nothing wrong with unit, they return it and problem starts again... did we hear from them to check if it was ok - NO!! Hubby does some googling, figures out problem, adjusts KPA and solved. Oh and the price quoted versus charged was R7k more expensive - dont even get me started on that issue. POOR POOR service, so damaging to the brand as we will DEFINITELY not recommend Monsoon. And that Sales guy needs to learn CUSTOMER SERVICE before he destroys your Brand!

Horrible after sale service!!!
They are quick to do the initial instalment of the irrigation system, but don't ever try to get service afterward to fix something, they are not even prepared to help in an emergency. When load shedding damaged the control box, they quoted me R20,000 for something I was able to replace for R600, I am absolutely appalled!!! Today I tried to give them another chance for an emergency that leaves my entire property without water due to the irrigation system, but they can help somewhere in November. Never again!!!!

Simpler, better, faster!
<p>Monsoon Irrigation quoted us for getting our b<strong>orehole going again, installed a tank, re-jigged the sprinkler system - all on time, neatly, with a minimum of fuss and charged not a cent more than the quote. Their advice was professional as was their work and service. And everything just works. What a pleasure. I recommend them highly!</strong></p>

Great irrigation guys!
I'd like to compliment MONSOON IRRIGATION OF Bryanston on the great work done to replace an old irrigation system at my cottage in a retirement village in January 2015. <br> They had enough staff to do the job quickly and efficiently. They replaced piping, sprinklers, the controller and added a rain sensor which works a treat!<br> The plants and lawn were replaced immediately after a pipe was laid, with no casualties! <br> At the end I got an itemised invoice which was less than the quote because of items not used. What a pleasure!<br> - Cherry
