I did an event in February which Moove supplied furniture and have since then been trying to recover my money from Mark Friedman and Joey Friedman. They have stopped answering emails, calls, WhatsApps are read and unanswered. They owe my company +R8000 in refund. I am going to take legal action as they have so much time to refund me but have chosen not to. Besides them not refunding my money their service is appalling to say the least and their furniture was broken, dirty and they were 2 hours late to setup and 4hours late to breakdown.

This company is not loyal they are cruel and they very selfish they owe me my salary and keep stalling payment on a daily basis, Joey was angered at my previous post and demanded I remove my post and he said I was blackmailing him in order for me to get paid the money I honestly worked for. I hope hope their clients can see what type of employee they dealing with, employers work hard to push production and yet get robbed out of their salaries.

I worked at an events company Move Exhibition and Event Supplies in Midrand as a welder for two weeks however I ended up doing carpentry due to unemployment so high I pushed through, Month end payday the administration Christine gave stories that Joey Moove the General Manager will release payment, to date I have not yet been paid. I loaned money for transport when I started now I can’t even pay the person who assisted me, please help.

We had an event and needed podiums/plinths from them. They told us that they would be able to supply us and after sending a quote, they sent us an invoice. A few days before the event when we were calling to confirm the booking, no one was replying to calls and emails. A day before the event we had to physically go to the store and speak to them after which they told us they do not have supply for us. We then told them that they have no option but to supply us as we had paid already and it is a day before the event. Eventually they said they’d speak to their warehouse and get them to deliver our plinths before end of business day. They arrived in the evening to drop off the podiums but they weren’t event the plinths we had paid for and some were broken, you could tell it was a rush job. After the event, they said they would fetch the plinths however, as usual it was a hassle getting them to fetch them as they had promised. Winny never answers her phone / emails. The company is VERY unreliable, use them at your own risk.

We hired some furniture from Moove in September last year and have still not been refunded a R6000 replacement fee. Get promises and pushed around from pillar to post but nothing. Joey doesn't reply to emails. Use this supplier at your own risk.

I did a job for Moove Exhibitions & Event supplies 5 months ago and still havent received payment, I've never dealt with such dodgy people in my life. Joey kept on promising to pay me in the "morning" for a milion times, then I proceeded to contact the big Boss Mark, who also ended up in a dead end. It's the highest level of unprofessional to not pay a supplier and then dodge them around every corner to avoid payment. I would not reccomend dealing with this company.
