MOOVE (MVASA CCO 1 (PTY) LTD) Title: ALERT!!!: MOOVE (MVASA CCO 1) ********ly Withholding R7,500 Security Deposits through Proven *****. The complaint is against MOOVE (MVASA CCO 1 (PTY) LTD) for a *****ulent financial transaction related to a vehicle use agreement. Consumer *****: MOOVE has ********ly withheld my R7,500 Security Deposit since September 2025. They verbally rejected the refund based on the false claim that I missed a 20-week payment deadline. Irrefutable Evidence: My records prove the required deposit payments were completed six months before the agreement was terminated. MOOVE is using a deliberate, manufactured, and false excuse to ***** the consumer's funds. Refusal to Document: MOOVE refused to provide this *****ulent claim in writing, proving their bad faith and attempt to conceal evidence. Regulatory Action: This case has been escalated to the National Consumer Commission (NCC) for severe consumer ***** and the Competition Commission (CompCom) for restrictive business practices. This company’s business model involves the systematic theft of security deposits, backed by *****ulent accounting claims. This is a financial service dispute from A CONSUMER , not an employment matter.

It is ridiculous and ********* how Moove SA conducts their business. So I joined the company on the 07 August 2024,everything was good until I started falling behind on my weekly obligations. At one time my vehicle rear had the rear windshield smashed, I couldn't work for a period of twelve days as per their instruction that I shouldn't use the vehicle until such time that the windshield had been replaced. But guess what they still charged me almost two weeks of worth of my weekly car rental amount which is R2995.00. On the 18th of April 2025 while getting ready to go to work, found that my vehicle would not start. Got hold of the office to report the incident after numerous attempts of jump starting the vehicle yielded no results. The office then advised that I get hold of Roadside Assist to have my vehicle towed to Hyundai Sandton. On Monday the 21st of April 2025 the vehicle was then towed to Hyundai Sandton. The following day on Tuesday the 22nd of April I then get a to inform me that my vehicle had in fact been immobilized and impounded, by now my outstanding balance is R9900. 00. On Wednesday I went to their offices with the fifty percent downtown payment as discussed previously and was then told that once the vehicle had immobilized and impounded, they cannot enter into any payment arrangement and that I to settle the entire outstanding balance, which had by now climbed to a staggering R11620.00 as a result of them charging me a rental fee for a vehicle that was now in their possession. I then wrote them an email on Tuesday the 29th of April, asking them to release my Uber account from their fleet. To which they responded that "they can only remove me once I have settled my R14615.00 outstanding balance", which effectively means they are charging me and will still continue adding the weekly rental of R2995.00 even though the vehicle is now in their possession and has been since the 18th of April 2025. I feel that they should have settled my outstanding balance while it was still R9900.00,using my initial deposit of R10,000 paid towards acquiring the vehicle, which is clearly stated in their contract, which stipulates the return of the deposit on condition that there are no outstanding amounts owed, amongst others. I am very unhappy with their level of service and incompetency and will be taking this further.

I have never dealt with such *********** ****** people at the Sandton office. They don't even know how to read a PDP document how can they be working in a place like this? I want the CEO of this company to call me as I have a very long list of complaints and I will be taking this further legally, and publicly as well.

I am an Uber driver currently using a rented car from Moove. On September 21, 2024, I was involved in an accident with a taxi driver at a traffic light on Jan Smuts. My car was subsequently towed by Help24. Since the accident, I have received no updates on the status of the repairs. Despite numerous calls and messages, the only information I receive is that my car is awaiting authorization for repairs. I have also reached out to inquire about a courtesy car, as Uber is my sole source of income, but I have been informed that no vehicles are available. My weekly earnings have been held since this whole ordeal, leaving me in a dire situation. I attempted to speak with Salome, the operations manager, who has been unhelpful and dismissive, providing little assistance or feedback regarding my situation. I feel stuck in limbo without a source of income and am extremely disappointed with the poor service from Moove.

Moove SA, I don't think they realise how much they have changed people lives especially women who were unemployed with no hope of ever getting an opportunity some because of age and others because of the level of education. I salute you Moove SA
