Moppit is a cleaning service that you book online and they provide you a cleaner. I used them once, and the booking was seamless and I made the payment online and scheduled a clean for the Monday. Monday came and no one arrived, I then reached out to them to query and they apologised and said it was a technical error. They sent the cleaner the next day and gave me a complimentary clean. 1st clean went well. I then used them for a second clean and booked a slot with them, they brought the cleaner two hours before scheduled time. They contacted me to communicate the same, and I understood. The cleaner was the same lady Moyo, I left her to clean. After the clean she went her way, and then I discovered she had literally yanked the wall plug out of the wall. I then communicated this and sent pictures to Rodney the owner. Informing them of the incident he responded saying they will investigate.
The following Monday I send an email to follow up, a lady called Chelsea Da Gama calls to get my side of the story about the incident and says the cleaner said she did not break anything. She then promises to get back to me with feedback. On Friday I email them asking them for feedback and inform them it is not acceptable that I need to chase to get feedback. Chelsea then calls me and begins to shout and accuse me of A. Denying that I chased Moppit for feedback, B. of lying about the incident and that there is no way that Moyo broke the wall plug and they will not pay for repair. I then respond that I am going write reviews on hello peter and social media, that is when Chelsea continues shouting at me, after I told her to repeatedly not speak to me like that, I then tell her Im dropping the phone. Soon after that I get a missed call from Rodney and then a whatsapp from Rodney the CEO threatening me and telling me not to go to social media to tell my experience and that he will pursue legal action for defamation of character. I then responded that I as a consumer have a right to give feedback on service and he will not threaten me and I will not tolerate such behaviour from anyone, let alone as a paying customer. I told him to refrain from contacting me further. I am appalled to say the least by the shocking service and response to me reporting an incident, that resulted in me being threatened and shouted at. I will not be silenced and I want to inform people that when using Moppit prepare for your stuff to be damaged by the cleaner and for the company to take not responsibility for it and for them to shout and threaten you.
I am going to stick to Sweepsouth!!!!!!
