I was an employee of Moriting Wealth Managers from October 2020 to April 2021. Moriting Wealth Managers never submitted my IRP5 to SARS during the 2021 tax year. When I requesting the copy of the IRP5 Morinting Wealth Managers refuse to supply me with a copy so that I can submit it to SARS. As per to SARS I owe them R 81,119.85. I was requested by SARS to submit my IRP5 from my previous employer Moriting Wealth Managers for the tax year 2021, but they refuse to supply me with the IRP5. This makes me think if this company is even tax compliant?

I have had a funeral policy with Moriting for over 15yrs : In 2010 I enquired about taking cover for my childrens father. (I informed them that I had been divorced for over 20yrs and wanted a funeral cover for father of my children).
22/2/2010 I was told by Moriting representative that all I needed to do was list the father as an adult dependent. This I did and on the 3/3/2010 they doubled my debit order.
This I took as acceptance that the children's father was covered.

Sadly he passed away on the 5/8/2015 - I put the claim through and I was then informed that they have declined my claim on the basis that they have a clause on divorced spouses!!!!!!

But they were quite happy to take my money for 5yrs - The mistake is their responsibility as it was their representative that authorized and without a problem took my money a few days after faxing through all the documents - the documents were faxed through on the 22/2/2010 and the first payment came off on the 3/3/2010..

Now who is being ethical specially at a time of sadness and stress to find out that the company is corrupt with no empathy..

I have recently lost my dad. This was in January the 20th.After dealing with his claims and sorting out whatever needs to be sorted out,I have dealt with numerous people not willing to assist or we were givin the run around. In the first week of his death we were notified that his provident and pension fund will be finaliased within 3weeks.We are sitting going for the fifth month and every time is something different. After phoning and sending mails all of a sudden the send me a document stating that they are allowed to take 12 months with this which does not work for me sorry.First of all the employer and Moriting told us that the duration of payout will be between 3 to 4 weeks. They also know that I have my mother that is currently unemployed where she was staying with my father which had the income. She is also sickly and need this sorted asap.Surely when someone passes away this should be a priority or do we have people that dont care?Do they even have the correct trained staff in place for all of this? You can not tell your client that it will take 3 weeks and then not even giving feedback but for the client to keep follo9wing up on this is absolutly insane.

Thanks
