Hellopeter, in 2013 we purchased a house that was registered by the seller's lawyers. The house is in Centurion Kosmosdal. We found out that the house was registered without the provision of an Occupancy Certificate at the Deeds Office. The certificate does not even exist at the Municipality, because the seller Andre never had this certificate as he did not comply with the requirements that will enable him to receive it from the municipality ( City of Tshwane, Centurion). We have been in pain trying to make the seller to comply with the municipality to get the certificate but all we get is shear arrogance from both transferring lawyers Mosterts and the seller Andre. Years have passed by and false promises are never ending from these guys.
The biggest question we have is how did the lawyers managed to register/transfer the house without this critical certificate to do any transfer of the house. We are paying rates of a vacant land which are much higher that residential land because of this. Munic has a right to demolish our house because it is non- compliant, all because Mosterts gave it to us without following correct procedures.

Your help in pursuing our matter will be apprecia
