I bought a car from Motus Honda Sandton. I have a major problem and when I tried to reach out to them, I was advised that they have closed down. I was advised that they are now in Motus Honda West Rand. I believe the same Dealer principal is also at the new branch. The problem is, that when I bought the car (before i drove it off the floor) they fitted an alarm and wrongfully connected the alarm wiring to the BCM (Body Control Modular). My car recently had a mechanical breakdown out of the blue. Renault in Kempton Park have found that the alarm wiring connected to the BCM sparked and has blown the BCM. This caused my whole car's electronics to seize. So far it costs me R35 000 and once the BCM is fitted (awaiting parts for more than 6 weeks already) then only a full diagnostic can be done to see what else could have been damaged. This means more costs for my account. After continues and various desperate attempts and emails, I have just been totally ignored. I feel that Motus Honda should take some responsibility for these COSTS!! I need someone from Motus to assist me, but nobody is reaching out to me and I am totally being ignored. My next stop is the Ombudsman! For sure!

Good Evening I'm writing this with a heavy heartππππππ. In June 2022 I bought a car via finance at Honda Westrand, before putting the application in I asked about the state of the car if it has a warranty and is accident free. The guy who was helping me told me that the car is accident free and it has a warranty. 26 July 2024, I took a car for a major service because it was starting to act up. Only to find out the car is written off and Warranty is blocked. I did a background check and found out that this car was involved in a major/ fatal accident and it was written off, I also find that the car is duplicate and some parts are missing. I took back the car on the 29 of July 2024 and asked them about the car and they told me that they will do a background check first. Yesterday 07 August 2024 I went back to check the process and the manager told me that he didn't know anything about a car being written off, he didn't know that the car doesn't have a warranty ππ he bought a car from rental company. He also said that he reported the matter to Motus Honda Head office and they told him to take the matter to Motus Legal Team. I asked for a reference to show that he is doing something with this matter, he failed to produce references. The manager is taking advantage of me because I am a woman, He is not even showing emotional remorse n he is showing me that he doesn't care about what I am going through. I am paying this car every month Installment, Insurance and Trackerπππ. He doesn't care how he has put my life and my family's life in danger of selling me a written off car with parts missing. I am so heart broken ππ, I'm in pain.

After sales support here is absolutely disgraceful. I called late Friday afternoon to ask about a battery for my motorbike, Andries assured me they have stock and gave me an inclusive price of R950. I mentioned I could only make it there Saturday morning, he informed me he won't be in but a colleague will help me. Saturday morning the branch opens at 8:00 but no one tells you that parts only open at 8:30 so I had to wait, 8:40 was the first time someone could help me, but he didn't know the part numbers and couldn't find the battery. Eventually someone else finds a battery, but they can't tell me if it'll work, and they charged me R1,380.... What's the point of having a dealer network if they can't even check if a part is right for your bike?

Motus Honda West Rand sold me a car which was involved in accident and such information was not disclosed to me as a client, was this done to me because I am black person. The lady by the name of Feroza and sales executive never mentioned to me that the car was involved they lead me to believe that the car was a trade in by other client.
