I recently accompanied my friend to this dealership to shop for a car, and the customer service we experienced was very disappointing. There is a Manager from used car section who was not welcoming. Instead of assisting us properly, he came across as uninterested and unhelpful. Buying a car is a big decision, and customers expect to feel valued and supported through the process. Unfortunately, that was not the case here, and it left both of us with a very negative impression of the dealership.

I buy vehicles on a constant basis for business purposes, and this is one dealership I would never use, never refer somebody to and the only one with such a bad experience that I would take the time to warn others to avoid. I had to my knowledge closed a deal in all aspects with the dealership, and had be informed of a timeline to expect the delivery of the vehicle to their own branch. Thereafter, I had to follow up constantly to ensure the timeline was still accurate, as no updates were received from the dealership, but every time I had followed up, the message remained the same that there were no issues with the communicated timeline and all is in order. My bank had there after informed me they aren’t receiving the necessary documentation from the dealership to conclude funding. After calling the salesman to relay this message and to understand what the cause may be, he asked to call me back in 10 minutes as he was with a customer. No call was returned to me, and thereafter, my message was ignored. The following morning I had gone to the dealership personally to resolve this issue. This was now the day after they communicated that the vehicle would be delivered into their possession. At the branch I was met with the news that the vehicle was only located the day prior, and was informed it would be more expensive than originally quoted. I had communicated my frustration in the lack of transparency, as the reality or them communicating all was in order led me to stop looking for the vehicle as in my eyes the deal was concluded. But, still we had elected to proceed even on the higher price, as this was a business purposes and I had already invested two weeks into this deal and could not afford to locate an alternative. I was however assured that the vehicle is now in their possession, and that they can invoice it out immediately. The go ahead was provided to invoice the vehicle. After another day without an update, I once again had to call the dealership where I was met again with the news that they do not have the vehicle and the dealership who do, have not yet agreed to a deal with themselves. I was ensured that an update will be given to me, and 5 days later - nobody has yet to call. The lack of transparency at this dealership gives reinforces the old stereotype of sleazy car salesman

Bought a secondhand car for my daughter based on what they advertised. The car had nearly 5000km more on the odometer than what they stated on the official OTP but I could ignore this as it is not a material issue to the value of the car and what I bought. However I took delivery on 10 Jan 2025 of the vehicle with my daughter and then the drama started from 17 January when I started querying progress with outstanding matters on my transaction. Now getting the runaround on Natis documents, license disk, number plates, spare key and full service record that apparently exists but they cannot produce and deliver to me as client despite my several follow ups. All they do is contradict themselves the entire time on mail, phone calls and messages.

Absolutely pathetic service, called in on a Thursday looking for a specific vehicle and was told there were none in stock but they could get it no issue. When I asked what the lead time was they said you will have it no later than the following Tuesday. I sent the full funds without hesitation. Saturday came along and I called to confirm if the funds had been received. I was told the system doesn’t work on Saturday. Monday morning received a message that the funds had been received and they were arranging the car. Later Monday, I received a message stating that they were very sorry but they were unable to secure the vehicle and they needed to refund me, I was furious at this point. I called another dealer that had the same vehicle. They said yes they would give it to me at the same price. I requested Toyota bryanston to pay the funds over to the other dealer. They refused “company policy”… that made me more upset. I told them fine, semt my company details from where the funds had been sent. A day later I received a form and a million questions including original POP along with a complete KYC for my own funds back. The dealer principal was unhelpful and the entire experience was just pathetic. I will drive 100km from my office to service my car to ensure I never deal with them again.

Hello. I bought a pre-owned mercedes benz c class at Motus Toyota Bryanston around 27 March 2024. I was promised that everything that is wrong with the car will be fixed including scratches on the car etc. After taking possession of the vehicle I realized that thre is a crack on the medal part on the Rear bumper which the dealer promised to fix but didn't. The car is not driving much but yesterday when I was washing the car,the fuel car just completely came off which is amazing because the fuel cover is completely electronic and can't just open on its own. However it just came off completely , and I noticed when I lock the car,the car wasn't beeping as usual even though it locked. I informed my sales person Rajen Subramoney but he refused to assist me saying his manager Ricardo David says there's no report on their side that shows the car had issues with fuel cover. So when I in the process on purchasing this car ,I was promised severally that if anything were to go wrong within 6 months of collection I can bring the car back for them to repair for free. They promise lies and lip service and they don't honor their word. So stay away from this dealer if you don't want a headache.

My car webt in for a service on the 21st of December 2023. Jeethen was the service advisor that booked my car in. My car did not reach 45000km so it was a year service. When I got there I asked him what does the 45000km service entail he said he does not know his service department manager will inform me. The same time I should have seen this as a red flag and removed my vehicle from that dealership and booked my car in for a service either at Sandton ir Bruma. Nevertheless I was leaving to KZN the very next day and required my car to be serviced because in 2022 I had brilliant and amazing service from Laura of the same dealership hence I took my car back there. I told Jeethen to please check my aircon unit because when I turn on the aircon whilst I am accelerating there's a rugged feel while driving. He agreed to do so. After the service he contacts me and says my clutch needs to be changed it costs R14000 and if he must order the parts to get it sorted. I refused. My car had 26000km on the clock and I work remotely so the car is hardly driven. I asked Jeethen how can that be possible so Jeethen had no answer for me. When he called me to pick up my car and discussed this with me I told him it was the aircon and not the clutch he refused and insisted it is the clutch. As I walk out the service department manager cones up to me and dramatizes and exaggerates how bad my clutch is and when I am going to KZN the moment I drop from 4 to 3 my clutch will give way and I will be stranded on the side of the road. I told him it can never be the clutch as I work from home and hardly drive my car the longest trip I ever do is twice a year to KZN. He tried to terrify me being a female and make money off me as it was nearing Christmas when my car was still on maintenance plan. I went to KZN safely and drove my car around there and even drove back up to Jhb to date no clutch issues. I even informed them I know when a clutch needs to be replaced because there is a shudder when you reverse as well as it revs when you not even accelerating but the car is stagnant. They actually had no response for me. Further to this they didnot valet my car properly and they let me drive off with my bonnet open and not fully closed. I went to the shopping centre that was close and realised that it was opened when I got out of my car. I reported it to the dealer principle no response. Toyota SA phoned me and asked about my service I related the entire incident to them. I never heard back from them either. This is actually ****ming by lying and not being transparent to the customer. Please be aware of these especially ladies of these service advisors and the manager in the services department. I will never ever recommend this dealership to anyone.

We often complain about bad service, but never take time to acknowledge great service. Thulani Dlamini a sales person with passion, and passion for client satisfaction has led me to write this review, and hope that it reaches the right people. He (Dlamini) gave a us a good customer experience from the first day we inquired about a vehicle, and ensured that he does not let the sale go (Like all sales men do), but the difference was the after sales experience & the collection day that made this shopping experience a great one. Keep shinning Mr Dlamini, and hope that you make more sales. PS Muzi Nkosi

Not even worth one star. They advertise vehicles with "Full service history", where in fact the service book is not stamped and where services are recorded (stamped), they were done 3500 to 4600 km's late. They then said as a token of apology, they will pay for the150000 km service at the agents (VW), but instead took it to Kwik-Fit to change the gearbox oil and re-set the service indicator, after having the vehicle for 4 weeks. They also said they will attend to my complaints about the Fan (Blower motor) and the power steering, just to tell me that VW found nothing wrong. Every time as asked about my car during the 4 weeks, I was told that they are waiting for spares. The only spare that was replaced during the 4 weeks, was a missing boot cover clip. This is probably all my fault as I didn't check it all when test driving. If you decide to buy a car from these guys, please make sure you check the service history, ALL doors, fans, lights, spare key, etc. because they claim to do Decra inspections, but there was a lot wrong when I took delivery. Also make sure you take it for a test drive on a freeway, as you CANNOT identify faults at low speeds around town (just bring your own fuel). It might be an acceptable practice, but their staff is using "for sale vehicles" for whatever reason - km's advertised were 4000 more when I took delivery. Decra was done prior to staff trips, which could explain how they might drive the vehicles. Best I can do now, sell this vehicle privately and buy somewhere more reliable.
