Mowana is absolute trash!

I actually want to give them no stars. The worst property group I've ever had to deal with. Rude, inept employees and overcharging of rent, electricity and water. In months where our flat complex did not receive water (about 3 months last year) I was charged over R700 for water. I am charged electricity ranging from R1,100- R1,700, for what I don't know, when I worked for most hours of the day, and do not cook everyday. The company then took it upon themselves to add an extra R5k+ to my rental invoice, and claim that I have missed a month, or I have paid in arrears, which cannot be proven by them, and thus a blatant lie and a plan to extort money from me, as the complex is empty, and they are not receiving sufficient rental from it. Tenants who have moved out are still being charged for utilities, despite no one residing in the flat! A scam. They have increased my rent suddenly by R1500 and increased parking to R550, not considering that our salaries have not increased significantly. They have also request 3 months rental as a deposit. Absolutely shoddy services, and rude employees, who should really not be working in customer service. If you are looking to rent any properties with them, do yourself a favour, and seek a different company. Their stress is really not worth it.
