I can't wrap my head around the fact that the fathers of the babies are not allowed into the hospital. Why is it deemed that the mother is more important than the father. Mowbray is not the only non-private hospital or clinic to have this policy. My son had to spend all night in his car outside the hospital because he was not allowed into the hospital. His girlfriend was rushed to hospital last night due to spotting and pain at 7 months pregnant. She gets told it's a dangerous sign, which obviously causes anxiety but my son is not allowed to be with her or his son. The policy regarding the permission for the father to be present for all visits for check-ups for the mom or baby shld be changed. No reason is good enough. COVID is gone. My son is losing out on special moments regarding his baby's growth and health. He is not even allowed in for the ultra sounds. I cannot believe that other father's are not up in arms about this. Very concerned Mom
