Mr Mag man (Benoni) - Bad customer service

Good morning to the Hellopeter.com Team,

My name is Willie Sithole from Springs, however, would like to ask for your assistance in regard to my complaint about the tyres I bought from Mr Magman in Benoni (crn Wilstead street and Ampthill avenue, opposite the Shell garage in Benoni).

I bought a set of new white-wall Zone tyres (4), size 205/75/15, from them in mid-2015 for the Quantum....but the tyres only lasted up until late last year (2016) when I started experiencing the shaking of the Kombi when it was in motion. I then decided to take it for wheel balancing, thinking that it will be okay after that but shockingly, discovered that they were unable to be balanced since they had ply separations. That was confirmed by the Hi-Q agent, it is then that I decided to go to the seller (Mr Magman) for ply separations complaint on tyres so that they could inform their manufacturer for the replacement.

I took the Kombi to them in December 2016 for testing and they also confirmed the ply separation on 3 tyres, which then the decision was made that rather let me leave the tyres with them so that they could take them to their manufacturer for their own testing and final report as to what needed to be done, taking it from there. They took the tyres and promised to get back to me in two weeks time but that never happened until I made a follow up with them by visiting the branch and the very agent, told me that he'll call me immediately after getting a full report from the supplier. I went back home with a disappointment again. By mid April, I decided to make another follow up with them, and when I got there (at Mr Magman), I asked for the complaints' Manager and was referred to speak to Mr Mohammed, whom then asked a Colleague of the servicing agent to assist me with the matter by checking the final report with the manufacturer since the servicing agent in question was on leave at the time, again, I was told that the manufacturer doesn't respond when called, so I must go back home, as soon as they respond on the phone, they'll let me know telephonically about the final outcome result from the manufacturer but till now, I haven't heard from them.

I am very disappointed at the way Mr Magman Management and the staff are handling my complaint, however, it then the reason why am I seeking for your intervention or assistance in helping me to get a replacement of my 3 tyres from their manufacturer. I just wonder as to what would have been the case if I didn't have my old set of tyres in a scenario like this because I had to fit them back on the Kombi when those were taken out.
